Hi everyone!! I'm Maya and I was saved at the age of nine (my best friend introduced me to God). I love poetry, reading, writing, stargazing and photography.

Hi my name is Don. I have very hot Christian beliefs even though my behavior is often somewhat tepid. I love to read and write about the American Civil War. So many of the characters who served in that conflict had an incredibly deep faith. Thanks for having me in the group.

Hi Everybody, I'm Matt...
I'm Old School, but young at heart. I'm also a full-time minister but didn't arrive where I am lightly. You might say I tried to run from the call. My life has been an episode of colorful spots, and checkered circumstances. I've probably already been in most of the situations that many of you younger folk are in now, or might soon find yourself in. Truth be told I've also had to face many challenges that I pray non of you ever have to. I've written one book, "The Jesus Command." Its been said that it's a great conversation starter, but I'll leave that for you to decide. One thing I know is this...
Jesus Loves You and wants more than anything for us to know that love and share it with each other. If you ever want to talk, pick my brain, or just take a chance on risking my advice... feel free to reach out.

Hello I'm Allie,I live in Colorado for the moment but I'm going off to college soon (As in I'm currently going into my last semester of high school), so we'll see where the Lord takes me for that. I joined this group yesterday (obviously) because I am a typical cradle Catholic - born and raised in a pew. For a cradle Catholic faith is supposed to come easy, I mean I literally grew up with the faith surrounding me so I feel that I'm supposed to just simply believe it. This was easy as a child but as I've grown up I realize that I have absolutly no real relationship and connection to Christ. I feel that it's a great time to develop this (I mean anytime is but especially before I head off to college). I'm extremely excited to join this group.

You can call me Nandie if you like since "Discerning Reader" is obviously not my real name :) I run a small Christian store, and I'm SUPER PICKY about what books I bring in, so I've joined Goodreads in the hopes that by reading the recommendations of others, I can make some good choices. I've done some reviews of my own too, so I hope that helps. Nice to find a Christian group, lovely meeting you all!
