Stephen Campbell (stevecampbellfl) | 8 comments I just received my new Paperwhite so I'd like to give my Kindle Touch to my parents. I think it will confuse them if I leave all of my books on there. Is there a simple way to delete books? In earlier Kindles there was a way to display checkboxes next to book names to select them in bunches for action, but I can't find that with the touch.

Howard Lewis | 2 comments Just reset it. All books will be erased.

Recently, I also got a new Paperwhite and gave my Kindle Basic to my daughter. Even though I deregistered it and registered it to her, my books stayed on the device. After having my memory refreshed by Kindle support, I remembered you can reset it to factory settings. This will remove all content, if that is what you want. I believe you can still keep it registered to you. Both the deregistering and resetting the device are in the settings menu, then the menu on that page.
