Here. Thank you so much! I'm so bored and everyone seems to like doing only one worded replies lately <_< Do you want to know my sort-of ideas or do you have an idea?

message 2: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments I have LOTS of ideas, so let's hear yours first. ^_^

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

:P Okay. They're not really ideas just starters.

Um.

A trick rider and roper.
Some post-apocalyptic thing.
A demon and vampire.
A vampire and wereleopard.
>_< Sorry I had a ton of other ideas but I'm sleep deprived right now and my thoughts are all jumbled up.

message 4: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Starters are all we really need. I like the vampire and were-leopard one. Which one do you want to be? ^_^

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

You can pick, I don't really mind? Would you mind if I'm the girl or would you prefer?

message 6: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments I was thinking I'd like to be a female were-leopard.

We can do doubles if you'd like. Maybe one couple is vampire/were-leopard and the other is either/human or another of the same pairing. That way we can each play a female. ^_^

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Doubles is good :D Okay, so... How about a demon and a vampire then a vampire and the were-leopard then?

I can't make profiles now, sorry. I have to go.. But I'll do it tomorrow most likely.

message 8: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Not a problem. I'll need to look for pictures anyway. Which race do you want your girl to be, demon or vampire?

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Demon, if that's okay :D

message 10: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments That's cool. What info should we include for the characters?

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Erm.... Name, age, gender, personality, history, and then maybe likes and dislikes?

message 12: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Works for me. I don't know how I missed the notification for this... I'll get my characters posted ASAP. Once I get the load of laundry in the wash...

message 13: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Or goodreads will eat the post where I was working on my characters... You know, whichever. Now I get to start all over again. I almost had Liv finished too! Grr...

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Name: Olivia Fullerton

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Species: Were-Leopard

Appearance: Human:
Leopard:

Personality: kind, soft-spoken, loner, short-tempered, doesn't take crap from anyone

History: When Olivia was born, her parents were still in high school. Two years later, they had another daughter. The girls were well cared for, and almost spoiled. That all stopped one bleak day when their father was killed by a vampire. At twelve, Liv was too young - and too small - to defend her family, but she still blames herself for her father's death.

She and her sister both have part-time jobs to help out with the household bills, and have since turning 15. Liv wants to go to college, but doesn't want to leave her mother and sister. Since she graduated high school last year, she has taken on additional small jobs. Mostly vampire slaying for the local Hunters' Guild. As an alpha were-leopard, her strength almost matches that of a vampire. As a petite female, they don't expect it.

She is well-trained in fighting in both human and leopard forms. She can shift just a part of her body instead of having to fully shift, though a full shift is almost instantaneous thanks to her alpha power.

Likes: music, dancing, reading, fighting

Dislikes: vampires, cruelty, weakness

Name: Aiden Thomas

Age: 523, looks 19

Gender: Male

Species: Vampire

Appearance: http://athena-chan.deviantart.com/art...

Personality: demanding, strong (mentally as well as physically), a bit of an ass

History: Aiden was born in 1490 to a family of peasant farmers. He was raised to run the family farm, as he was expected to take it over when his parents were gone. At 19, on a trip into London, he ran afoul of a gang of thieves when he tried to prevent one of them stealing a woman's horse. They later found him, surrounded him and beat him. Left for dead in a London alley, he thought to never see the light of day again.

It was almost two centuries before he could stand to be out in daylight, but now it does not bother him in the least. He moved to the New World in the late 1700s, not long before the Revolutionary War. He did not fight in the war, but often visited battlefields after the battles were over. Not to feed, but to see if there were any survivors among those left for dead. Anyone he could save the way he was saved all those years before.

Lately, he has been running a nightclub in the city. The nightclub is a haven for supernatural creatures and those humans who wished to meet them.

Likes: women, blood, reading, writing

Dislikes: demons, werewolves, weakness

Arg. I'm so sorry it took me so long to reply, but by the time I was ready to last night I fell asleep *sigh* Okay, I'll work on them now.

Name: Zephyrine Artemis Rouseaux
Age: 21
Personality: She doesn't like or trust anyone so she tends to stay away from people. She's quiet unless she has something to say and usually isn't noticed. When she does talk, though, she tends to try to annoy or anger the person she is talking to so they'll leave her alone.

Species: Demon
Appearance:

(without nosering)

History: When she was little, about a year old, she was kidnapped from her real family and taken by a name whose name is James Rouseaux. He kept her and let a demon possess her body when she was 6. She's only a tool to him. She doesn't like people or trust anyone because of this. She has no idea that he's not her real father, and she didn't used to understand why he would abuse her, but he still does, and she just thinks it's because he's drunk half the time. She tries to stay away from home, and spends a lot of time in the woods outside of her house.

Likes: Good music (at least in her opinion), horses, rain, stars, trees.
Dislikes: People, her 'father', any kind of annoying music, vampires.

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments ((Would you like to get us started?

I can do it, but I'm about to go out for a bit so it'll be a couple of hours before I can.))

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

((Sure I can start :D And it's totally fine, I have to do a 4k story anyway; maybe I can actually get it done this time :P ))

Vladmir stood in front of his orchard proudly. He was getting ready to leave to go into town for a couple of things but he wanted to take the time to breathe in the fresh air. After a few moments, he turned on his heel and walked away to his truck.

When he got into town, he first headed towards the book store. He needed a book on pruning trees. He had added a few new ones last year and wasn't familiar enough with them to do it on his own.

~_>_<_~

Zephyr was sitting in a tree in the forest outside of her house. It was cold and a little windy but she hadn't thought about bringing a anything warmer than a light quilt with her. Her dad was drunk again and she didn't want to be around him; she could hear him yelling inside the house. She was in a sturdy branch, her eyes closed. She slowly fell asleep, even as the wind grew stronger.

A crackling, settling of the trees made her waken a little over an hour later. She heard her father in the woods, or so she assumed it was her father, and she sat up, trying to move so she could hop out of the tree. Her foot slipped and she fell, only barely catching onto a branch still about thirty feet in the air, one that was unsteady and making a loud snapping noise.

message 20: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Olivia groaned at the paper orders she'd just received for her latest job with the Hunters Guild. She had to drive half a day to get to that town. Good thing she had the next two days off from her regular job. She grabbed up the small purse she carried and went to the bank. She'd have to clean out half her savings for this trip. Thankfully it would more than pay back her savings once she finished it.

The next morning, she left her room at the small bed and breakfast where she'd stayed the night. After speaking briefly with the owner, she went into the small downtown area. Oh, a bookstore! How wonderful. Surely I can spare a few minutes to look around.

She stepped inside and grinned. She loved bookstores and this one looked wonderful. She wandered around, looking at the shelves and occasionally taking down a book for a closer look.

She glanced towards the door when it opened and nearly dropped the book she held. He was here! Her target, the vampire Vladmir Kronso. Her heart beat faster as she got a good look at him. He was even more handsome in person than his photograph made him look. But he was a vampire, so he had to be destroyed. A vampire had killed her father seven years ago; she'd destroyed more than two dozen in the year since she graduated high school. It still was not enough. It would never be enough. They all had to die.

**********

Aiden had to get out of the city. He'd lived here for years, and had left only a handful of times. He hopped in his little red sports car and took off, not bothering to pack anything. He had more than enough money to buy whatever he needed while he was gone. He finally stopped in a small down most of a day's drive away. He'd driven all night and still was not tired. He rented a room at a bed and breakfast and went out for a walk.

He soon found himself in a small forest. He didn't bother trying to move silently, knowing he was almost entirely alone. He had only sensed one other being, a female demon blood. She smelled both human and demon, so she had to be a half breed. No human could survive demon possession after all. Half-breeds weren't always as bad as full demons, so he would give her a chance to prove herself worthy of being left alive.

He looked up at the sound of a branch snapping loudly, threatening to break. There she was, hanging from it by one hand, thirty feet in the air and about twenty feet in front of him. He could easily reach her, and catch her, should the branch break fully as it threatened.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Vladmir saw a pretty girl in the store and grinned at her, heading in her direction. "Hi, do you work here?" he asked smoothly. He obviously knew where the book he needed in the store was, but now he was distracted, and the girl didn't have to know that. He continued smiling his perfect smile, though he could smell that she wasn't completely human. She wasn't a vampire; that was for sure, and she wasn't a werewolf. So what was she?

~_>_<_~

Zephyr tried to heave her body over to the branch that was closer to the actual tree, hoping it would be sturdier. It would have been a good idea if the entire branch wasn't planning on coming down, but that was what was happening and with an even louder crack she and the large piece of wood fell, dropping to the ground.

((Sorry it's short.))

message 22: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments ((It's fine. It's not a one-line reply to my multiple paragraphs, so you're fine. ^_^ My post will probably be shorter as well.))

Olivia smiled at the vampire as he approached. No need for him to know she was here to kill him. Not yet anyway. "No, but I think you know that already," she said with a smirk. In a town this small, he probably knew everyone. She had to fight to keep the smile on her face. He may be handsome, but he was still a vampire.

**********

Aiden poured on the speed, taking off at a run as the branch broke, to catch the falling girl in his arms. "Good morning," he said, smiling down at her. She was gorgeous, he had to admit. Even if she was a demon blood.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

((I hate when that happens... Sorry it took me a while to respond.))

"I do?" Vladmir had a fake thoughtful face. She was even more beautiful up close. "Yeah. I know that. Unless you're new. Which isn't likely, the old man who's been running this place has been for fifty years," he said with a wink, dismissing the fact that he looked too young to have known the owner had worked the bookstore for that long. "I am Vladmir Kronso." He smiled, giving a little bow to her.

~_>_<_~

Zephyr gasped, widening her eyes and pushing him away from her, dropping the rest of the way to the ground and standing up quickly, taking a step back. "Who the heck are you?!" Then she calmed down a little. It's not even technically morning. He was good looking but a little creepy. She wasn't expecting anyone but her father to have been on their property. "What are you doing on my property?" she voiced now.

message 24: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments ((No problem. Did you finish your story??))

She curtsied as best she could in a mini-skirt. "Does he know what you are?" she asked with a small smile. "Come now, we both know neither of us is human. I know exactly what you are, but, I wonder, do you know what I am?" She seriously doubted it; there weren't very many of her kind, and most lived in small, secluded communities.

"Vladmir? Are you Russian then?"

****

"My apologies, Miss," Aiden said with a bow. "I was unaware this was private property. I am staying in town and merely wanted to take a walk, to take in the scenery, get a feel for the area."

He took a step towards her, extending his hand. "My name is Aiden Thomas."

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

((Not even close. I got really, really distracted. But I'm going to work on more soon. At least there's no rule that all of it has to be done in a day.))

"No..." Vlad recovered quickly from her first words. "No, I am French." He leaned in a little, but not too close; a little warily but curious. "If not human...?" he questioned without finishing, raising brunette eyebrows. "You're obviously not like me, nor are you of the lupine variety. So what be it then?"

~_>_<_~

"You... don't have to apologize. I probably would have died if you weren't standing there." Zephyr shrugged, though still wondering what his deal was. She held out her hand also. "I am Zephyrine Rouseaux. Welcome to town, I guess. Sorry it's not that interesting."

message 26: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments ((That's good.))

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Olivia teased, smiling at him. What the hell am I doing? Why am I flirting with him? I'm here to kill him, not go out with him. Focus, Liv. Focus. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I would like to buy this book." She moved around him and went towards the front counter.

She flirted with the old man running the place as he rang up her purchase and she paid for it. She turned to give Vladmir a small wave on her way out of the store. She wasn't here to flirt, but she had no problem using his seeming attraction against him.

***********

Aiden smiled at her. He took her hand in his and brought it up to his mouth. He kissed the back of her hand, letting his lips linger just a touch too long. "It just got a lot more interesting," he murmured over her hand.

"Perhaps you would be willing to show me around?" he asked as he slowly lowered her hand and let go of it.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Vladmir made a sort of grunting noise in his throat then followed her out. "Well, wait!" he called. He moved quickly to block her way. "You're not just gonna leave, right? Can I buy you lunch?" His eyes were slightly widened. They weren't the normal red for a vampire, but they only turned when he was hungry. They were brown. He met his eyes with hers hopefully.

~_>_<_~

Zephyrine blinked silently then nodded, a small smile on her face. "There's a graveyard, and- Yeah, okay, c'mon." She turned around and took one step then stopped and turned back. "Wait. What would you like to see?" She raised her eyebrows, feeling childish.

message 28: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Olivia frowned when he blocked her path, but it slowly turned to a smile when he asked her out. She looked him over, a quick up and down. "Alright." She leaned a little closer to him, just long enough to whisper, "As long as I'm not on the menu for you." She smirked up at him. "Where should I meet you? And when?"

He has gorgeous eyes. And those lips. Good God, those lips make me think naughty thoughts. I want those lips on my body, all over my body. LIV! Focus! She shivered a bit, but not from the temperature, as she waited for his answer.

**************

You. All of you, Aiden thought. "Whatever you would like to show me, Miss Zephyrine," was what he said out loud. He started to reach for her hand, then stopped himself, deciding it was neither needed nor appropriate. Just because he felt a desire to touch her didn't mean he had to do so; she may not share that desire after all.

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

((Sorry.))

Why would I eat you? Too beautiful, Vladmir thought but didn't voice. Instead he said with a bit of excitement, "I can pick you up. Tomorrow? Eleven thirty?" His eyes were bright and it was obvious he was hopeful he could actually take her out. "Where can I find you?" he asked. He was still smiling, but trying not to be creepy.

~_>_<_~

Zephyr shrugged, turning back around again. "Follow me, then." She led him off deeper into the woods, coming to an area next to a huge pond, surrounded by a Gothic-era fence and entrance, covered with vines, dotted with large, creepy and creaky weeping willows. Zeph went to the entrance and opened it, walking in.

message 30: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Olivia frowned. "I thought you meant lunch today," she said, pouting up at him. "After all, it is still early. I haven't had lunch yet." She reached up and played with the collar of his shirt, almost but not quite touching his skin.

He has a wonderful smile. Umm, those lips. God, those lips! I wonder if he'll try to kiss me? I wonder if I want him to... You know, I think I do. I shouldn't, but I do. Oh, I am in trouble.

**********

Aiden followed her, watching the soft sway of her hips more than the scenery. He did stop to admire the fence they came to; it looked old and somewhat out-of-place here. He followed her around to the entrance and inside.

((Is this the graveyard she mentioned?))

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Vlad smirked a little, leaning down a bit to gently kiss her nose before taking her hand and leading her away. "Then come. What kind of food do you like?" he asked, in an even better mood than he had been that morning. He didn't care what species she was, she was talking to him and neither of them had been drinking. Mostly.

~_>_<_~

((Yeah. Graveyard/crypt.))

Zephyr walked past large statues of angels, some with their hands holding their faces; some glaring and others looking like they were screaming. They stood tall, anywhere around seven to ten feet with their wings towering even taller. Then there were the headstones of the graves. Some were normal; some had nothing written on them; occasionally one with an eerie or sad epitaph was passed, until finally the girl came to one just in front of a large, broken-down fountain. On it read, Zephyrine Artemis Rouseaux, 11-5-91 to 11-4-92 and the epitaph was to scuffed to be read.

message 32: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Olivia smiled when he kissed her nose, blushing lightly. That wasn't the kind of kiss I was hoping for, but it will do. For now. She seemed to have forgotten why she was here in the first place - to kill the vampire who now held her hand, not to date him. She hadn't forgotten, not really. It still took up residence in the back of her mind; for now, it would stay there.

"Oh, I like all kinds of food. Italian, Mexican, whatever."

*************

((I figured but I wasn't sure so I didn't describe what he saw. That was why I asked.))

Aiden shivered under the glares of the stone angels. He felt they knew what he was and every sin he'd ever committed. For a vampire as old as he, that was a lot of sins. He soon stopped looking at the angels all around, choosing instead to look at the headstones. He tilted his head in confusion when he read the one she stopped in front of. Wasn't that her name? And the birth date would be about right for how old she appeared.

"Isn't that your name?"

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

"Okay..." Vladmir continued walking with her hand in his. "Well, this town has everything, and everything here is good. I can even cook for you," he offered, shrugging. "Doesn't matter; you pick." He turned back around and raised his eyebrows a little. He actually liked her now, and he wasn't just mindlessly flirting.

~_>_<_~

Zephyr nodded a little bit with a serious expression on her face. "Yeah." Then she gave a wicked grin, turning to face him and sitting carefully on the top of the stone. "I just like creeping people out; not really dead. Either it's here by mistake or my dad really just hates me that much. Probably the latter."

message 34: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments A vampire who cooks? Interesting. "How about Italian then? Pasta sounds really good right now." Her stomach growled, causing her to blush. "Especially since I skipped breakfast this morning." She had just been trying to save money, so she hadn't eaten much last night and nothing so far today. With her metabolism, that was a bad idea. But she did need to save money. She'd just planned to hit a fast food place later and get a bunch of dollar menu items.

*************

Aiden shook his head. "How could your father hate you? That's not right. It can't be right." Over his long life, he'd never met a father who truly hated his daughter, or son for that matter. "It is creepy, though, I have to admit that.

There was a third option for the headstone. One that explained why she seemed both demon and human. She was born human and had somehow survived being possessed by a demon. But she had been close enough to dead, perhaps even had been dead for a while, that she had been buried. It would be no problem at all for a demon to break out of a casket and vault. But if she didn't know any of that, it wasn't his place to tell her.

He needed to talk to her 'father' about this. With her words, and his supposition, he doubted the man was actually her father. The demon he sensed had likely taken out her entire family.

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

Without asking why she hadn't eaten -though he was curious- Vladmir nodded leading her to a little family-run Italian restaurant across the street. Opening the door, a couple at the front counter waved and the two of them walked past a sign that read Please seat yourself, we'll be with you as soon as possible. Walking to a two-person table he let go of her hand and pulled out a chair for her.

~_>_<_~

Zephyr shook her head, the smile now completely gone again. Sighing, she said blankly, "I'm not going to bother to explain it to someone who won't listen." She stood up and started heading back the way out of the graveyard. "I'm sorry; you'll have to find someone else to help you. I'm not good at explaining things." She hung her head, hoping he would follow so she wouldn't be blamed for him getting lost in the crypt.

message 36: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments "Thank you," Olivia murmured as she sat down. She could get used to this treatment. As well as this company. She feared she was starting to like him. Not good, Liv. He's your target, not your date! Get back to treating him like it!

She looked around the small restaurant, smiling at the homey feel of the place. She looked back into his eyes and felt her smile widen. She knew she shouldn't, but she really was starting to like him. Maybe enough to get to know him, to not kill him. Maybe even enough to build a future with him. Oh, no, Liv, stop that line of thinking right now! Don't forget it was a vampire that killed your father. Never forget that. Never.

************

Aiden hurried to catch up with her. He reached for her arm to stop her. "I'm sorry, Miss Zephyrine. I didn't mean to upset you. I would like to listen to your story. Please tell me." He smiled at her charmingly.

Did she know what she was? Did her father? How had this happened?

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

"Welcome," Vladmir said with a grin as he took his own seat. "So..." he started, trying the think of something to ask or say. "Where are you from?" He was still trying to guess what species she was. Not demon. Obviously not a ghost. He ran through a list of other non-mortal beings in his head without showing the question on his was.

~_>_<_~

Though Zephyrine flinched at his hand she did stop. "You..." She sighed again. "You don't have to call me Miss. Just Zephyr or Zephyrine, really." Her face was downcast and it was obvious she didn't want to talk about it; especially with a stranger, but she continued anyway. She tried rolling up the sleeve of her jacket but it was too tight to do that. Instead, she just took it off, revealing a black camisole, bruises and scars and fresh cuts all over her. "I can't talk about it," she said.

message 38: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments "Greenville. It's a small town about half a day's drive away from here. I'm just here for a few days, taking a break from work." She smiled a bit, giving the waiter a small smile as he brought them menus. Once he left, she turned her attention back to Vladmir.

"Figured it out yet?" she asked teasingly as she began to look through the menu. "Or have you decided to give up?"

*************

Aiden gently took her arm and examined the bruises and scars found there. "What happened to your arm, Miss, excuse me, Zephyr?" The fresh cuts still smelled of blood; the smell was making him hungry even though he had eaten recently.

If her father was doing this to her, he would kill the man with his bare hands.

message 39: by [deleted user] (last edited Oct 07, 2013 07:48AM) (new)

"Oh, no way am I giving up. It'll just take me a little longer than I thought to figure it out. Can I have a hint?" Vlad asked, a hint of curiosity and flirtation still there in his voice.

"You're not a demon," he said, starting to tick off ideas on his fingers, "not a vampire, not a ghost, not a werewolf... Panther?"

~_>_<_~

Zephyr clenched the fist on the end of the arm he was holding, closing her eyes painfully. "My father," she said quietly, clenching her teeth with anxiety. She pulled her arm back and opened her eyes. "I'm sorry. All you asked was for me to show you around. No one deserves to be annoyed like this. I'll help you find your way back to your car but then I have to go." She took a deep breath again, this time shakily and turned around again.

message 40: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Olivia's eyes widened. "No, but you're close. I don't think anyone's ever gotten so close so soon before." She looked him over and smiled wider.

"I'll tell you what. If you can guess without a hint, I'll give you a kiss as a reward. Does that work for you?" she asked, her voice light and teasing. She wanted him to guess correctly, but at the same time, she didn't. She had a feeling she would end up kissing him either way. Actually, she was pretty sure they would be doing more than kissing.

Damned hormones.

************

Aiden touched her waist lightly. "You aren't annoying me, Zephyr. Not remotely. Please, let me help you. A beautiful girl like you deserves better than this," he said, gesturing to her injuries.

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

A small smirk played across Vladmir's lips and he said, "Sounds tempting. Hmm, give me a moment, then." He thought about it for a little bit. "Were-leopard?" he asked with a hopeful look on his face. If he was wrong he wouldn't be surprised; were-leopards were rare. He waited for her answer anyway, wishing he'd guessed tiger or lion instead. That was probably more likely.

~_>_<_~

Zephyrine blushed, looking down at the soft, mossy ground. "You can't help me," she said softly, putting her jacket back on then hugging herself. She didn't want to say it but felt she had to. "I'm not human," she whispered.

message 42: by Lura (new)

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Instead of answering, Olivia stood up, crossed over to where he sat, and pushed his chair back just enough for her to sit in his lap. She smiled. "You're right," she whispered against his lips. Then she kissed him. She moaned softly at the taste of his lips, one of her hands moving up his chest and around his neck to tangle in his hair, the other clutching the front of his shirt.

************

"I know. Neither am I," Aiden replied. He moved towards her, reaching out to gently tilt her chin up so he could look her in the eyes. "Don't be so quick to assume I can't help, my dear Miss Zephyr." He grinned, letting her see his fangs and winking at her.

After his eyes widened, Vladmir closed them, holding one hand firmly at the base of her back and the other on her cheek. He was pretty surprised he'd gotten it right and wasn't thinking about the fact that most were-leopards hunted vampires, instead thinking about the obvious; her right in front of him.

Not fighting the way her instinct told herself to do from his hand, Zephyr let him touch her instead of yanking away; the way she normally would. She smiled a little then narrowed her eyes, his words sinking in. "How do you know?" She frowned a little. She'd never met a vampire before but she didn't like the fact that he'd already assumed she wasn't a mortal.

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Two voices fought for Olivia's attention, both from inside her head. The one was screaming something about him being a target. The other, however, had moaned as soon as their lips touched and was now chanting 'Mine, all mine'. The second one scared her; she did not want to listen to it.

It seemed to think this vampire was her mate. That was simply not possible. Vampires and were-leopards have been enemies for centuries; her father had been far from the first were-leopard to be killed by a vampire. To her, though, his loss was most important.

Try as she might to listen to the first voice, she continued to kiss him, moaning softly and letting her lips part.

"Your scent. You smell both human and demon. So I did not know for sure you were not human until you said so yourself, you could have just been a demon's lover. But as you admit to not being human, I now know my suspicions of your being a demon blood were correct." He shrugged, smiling gently at her, retracting his fangs for the time being. He wouldn't be using them anytime soon. Demon blood could well kill him.

((this is gonna be a bit short because I'm holding my rabbit and it's hard to write with one hand.))

Vlad pulled back a little, both hands cupping her face, with a smirk on his face. "Thank you for confirming my suspicions," he said playfully before kissing her again, this time more passionate, closing his blue eyes again; fighting the urge to skip lunch and just take her back to his house.

"Pfft, demon's lover," Zephyr said, rolling her eyes a little. "No one would have me; especially not a demon..." She didn't include the fact that her 'father' had invaded her before; it wasn't necessary. "Besides, I don't know anybody. Well, minus you. I'm not allowed out." She shrugged.

Olivia moaned as he kissed her so passionately. She suddenly wasn't very hungry anymore. Her stomach would disagree, but the rest of her body would easily overrule it.

After a couple of minutes, she finally pulled away. "We should eat lunch," she whispered against his lips. "Then, maybe go somewhere more private," she said, smiling and tracing circles over his chest.

*************

Aiden frowned at her putting herself down. "Don't say that, little beauty. Any man would be lucky to have you."

He smiled gently. "Well, as you're obviously a rule breaker, why go home at all? Come with me, let me show you the world."

Vladmir grinned, happy that she wasn't just with him because he'd asked her out; it seemed that she liked him as well. "Good idea," he said, helping her back to her seat. When the waiter came out a couple minutes later and took their orders, Vlad still had a smile on his face. When they were alone again, he asked, "What's your favorite color?" out of the blue.

Not exactly, Zephyrine thought when he said any man would be lucky; thinking of how many people she'd hurt. "I really, really wish I could," she replied softly, biting her lip. "But I can't. It's not just because I'm told not to. I've actually tried to leave before, but he always finds me. It never ends well."

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments Olivia blushed lightly as she went back to her seat. No doubt the restaurant's staff had seen that little show. She expected they knew him, but she had no idea what they thought of her. Of course, she wasn't going to be in town for long, so it didn't matter.

"Hmm? Oh, blue," she answered, her blush deepening as she stared into his blue, blue eyes. That wasn't why she'd said it, though, blue really was her favorite color. "What's your favorite color?"

*************

"I can protect you," Aiden said, stepping up to close the distance between them. "If you will let me protect you, I'll see to it that no one ever hurts you again. Or if they do, you will get to hurt them back or punish them in whatever way you see fit." He put his arm around her waist and bent to press a light kiss to her shoulder.

"Brown," Vlad answered with a smirk, arching his eyebrows at her hair. "Or maybe black. But brown, definitely. Favorite place you've been?" he asked, random questions and ideas coming to his mind as he watched her.

~_>_<_~

"Well, thank you..." Zephyr blushed. "But I...." She sighed, taking his hand and leading him away. "I can hear my dad, we have to move." She did hear him trudging through the dense forest, and she was already stressed as it was.

Lura (luraj2612) | 2599 comments "I've never really traveled much. I think this is the only place I've ever visited. Unless you count my grandmother's house for Christmas." She shrugged. "You?"

She was enjoying just being in his company, talking to him, far more than she should. He was supposed to be her target.

***********

Aiden turned to her and grasped her waist. He lifted her up, held her body close against his, and began to run. In less than a minute, they were out of the woods on the far side from where her house was. "Now. Come away with me."
