Wow, I'm sad no one continued this conversation or added to it! I LOVE LOVE LOVED this book! I wish it would have been a bigger known book, but I think thanks to Twilight a lot of people don't care for Meyers work... But, it was a great book, even though the movie totally ruined it! I am totally okay with it being a stand alone book, I think a second one would be too much of a love story without the cool other things going on like in the first story...
I love the host too! It's my 2nd all time favorite book. And Meyer is writing more. It's a trilogy I think. The next one is called The Seeker. I'm really excited.

I'm really up in the air about the next book...I feel like this book left everything in a good place... I will be really mad if the rest of the story just turns it into one big love story... That was the thing I loved about the first book so much; it was not just about who liked who and all that.... There was so much going on as Wanda learned to love humans and they learned to accept and love her!!!

The beginning was confusing because it was a lot of world building. It gets so good tho! The love triangle/square is so confusing and hilarious :) I totally ship Wanda and Ian.
