Silver snickered. "Well, that's your choice." He sobered up fairly quickly. "How are your pokemon doing?" he asked.
"Oh, their fine."
Silver nodded, then reached out to grab Ninja as he began to munch on a plant.
"Wanna battle?" She asked, smiling to herself. She'd bred this team, they had the best egg moves and the best stats.
Silver smiled. "I will warn you, my team works in...unconventional ways." he said.
"So do I." Ginji said. "But let's move this outside."
Silver smiled. "Okay." He and his pokemon stepped outside.
Ginji returned her Pokemon and took up her place at her side of the battle field.
Silver smiled as Blaze walked back with a Casteliacone. "Battle." he said. She smiled and handed him the cone, gave him a quick nuzzle, then walked to her place on the battlefield, stretching and cracking her spine as she awaited her challenger.
Ginji cocked her head at this and thought about who to send out for a second before throwing Lanturn's pokeball into the air.
Blaze nodded. "Good choice." she said, lighting her wrists on fire.
Lanturn gave a cry and suddenly flooded the battle field with murky water, there was no way to dodge it.
Blaze smiled, throwing flame in reply and boiling the water into steam. "Nice opener," she said, "but you just reduced your visibility way too much." She returned fire, throwing fireballs at the faint light from her opponent.
Lanturn dodged, having flooded the Battle field she was now able to move freely around. And for not being able to see, pfft, Keen Eye. It always knew what was happening. She managed to get behind Blaze without even showing a ripple and shot a Hydro Pump, knowing full well that would cut the Pokemon's HP down to almost 5.
Blaze simply laughed and dodged in a fiery blur, leaving a trail of flame guaranteed to burn an image in the Lanturn's eyes.
Lanturn gave a laugh and sent a Shock Wave through the water, seeing as that attack never, ever missed, combined with the water, was a basic 1 hit K-O.
Blaze grimaced as the torrent of water flew straight at her. She superheated her body, briefly glowing red-hot, before the water hit her. When the steam cleared, she still stood, slightly dazed from the impact and soaked to the bone, but fine otherwise. She tried to start a flame, but it flickered and died. she said, cracking her neck. She put her talons up and gave a cry of challenge.
Lanturn smiled and sent another wave of Muddy Water, and kept on going, sending a Shock Wave with every wave. She just kept going, hitting Blaze, missing her twice.
