Rachel grew up in a busy household by the sea. Her father worked for Jasmine at the Gym; her mother traveled far and wide to win contests, and her sister ran track since age six. That was her life. She loved her mother, and they were close, despite Simone Ferris' contest habit. When Rachel was little, she went with her dad to the Gym weekly and wrote about the challengers; about the things they said and they way they battled. She told fantastical stories to her two close friends, Addy and Juno. Addy was a goof who loved practical jokes, and Juno was sort of a snob but a good friend nevertheless. Then they left for there journeys at age ten, and she stayed. She left at age thirteen, and now has five of the Johto badges.

Appearance: Just a typical teenage boy, with very little acne, jet black hair, and dark black clothing with a dark leather jacket. He's about 6' 2", and has blue eyes.
Personality: He cares a lot about his Pokemon, and is rather protective of them. He is rather intimidating when angered, but is playful otherwise. In battles, he is usually very very unemotional, and quite serious. He loves the big cities and dislikes the forest areas, although his favorite place to be remains under the shade of a tree.
History: He moved to Hoenn, from Johto, as a teenager, and began to collect Pokemon. Although he doesn't harp on it, he is one of the youngest people ever to defeat the Elite 4 and the Champion. What I was going to say, is my comment had posted, was that since this group has such a loose (not a bad thing) view on the Pokemon World, it's really not a bad thing. There's not many ways that could be expressed through roleplay anyway (at least, not without taking away from the main OC) so I'm sure it's fine!

History: Al was abandoned at age three by his parents. They dropped him off in a forest and left with out him. Scared and alone young Al hoped to be rescued. PAST
Nori was born in Johto; in Ecruteak City, to be precise. Ne had an older sister, growing up – Aimi, who was a nice, if distant, sibling. As Nori grew, nir sister became more and more distant until finally she disappeared altogether. When ne asked about it, Nori’s family told nir that asking those sorts of questions were against the rules, which manipulated Nori into never asking again.
Ne grew older, although not without the faint shadow of nir older sister’s disappearance. It haunted Nori, really; what could have made Aimi leave? Was it nir sister’s grades? The expectations placed on her? What had really happened? Or had Aimi actually been a bad person? Had she broken the rules?
Eventually, Nori learned how to shoulder the absence of nir sister and carry on with nir life, although ne was somewhat reclusive. Nori studied, Nori did well in school, but Nori preferred to stick to nemself. While this was damaging to nir social life, Nori didn’t care.
Ne grew old enough to receive nir first Pokemon, and after that it became apparent that Nori didn't have much of a taste for battling. Ne preferred to take part in contests, coordinating nir Pokemon for a high score. Eventually ne raised enough money to leave the region and ne began travelling to others, interested in the cultural aspects of overseas towns.
PRESENT
Nowadays, Nori travels through the regions, occasionally battling, although ne prefers to take part in contests. However, at the mention of a brawl or fight between two gangs or anything such, Nori will disappear and reappear in a completely different region, supporting nir self-proclaimed loathing of conflict.

Yeah, it'll definitely take some getting used to, but practice makes perfect! Even I still find myself writing the wrong pronouns sometimes, so don't worry too much.

Personality: He's awesome and cool. Oh, wait, that's me! Really, he's morbid and sometimes cruel, except to his Pokemon. He considers his only real friends to be his Pokemon.
History: He lives in the Johto region, and is the illegitimate son of Giovanni. His mother abandoned him at Ilex Forest when he was 4. There, he met Professor oak, who gave him his first Pokemon, a deformed Hoothoot with suspicious stats for its species. When he was around 7, he ran away from the home he and Silver (Giovanni's other son, ie, the ginger from Gold) lived in, after Silver kept using the Pokemon he stole from prof. Elm to forcefully battle his Hoothoot. He went to the Kanto region to train under Blue (Or Gary, or whatever). At the age of twelve, he left Kanto and has been traveling since.
Looks: He always keeps his baseball cap given to him by Red in a way that hides his face. He has a burn on his arm that he keeps hidden under his long, blue and black hoodie. No one knows where the burn comes from. He has long, black and blonde hair.

History: Finley was born to a draenei father and human-draenei mother in The Exodar. When problems continued to be stirred up between the Alliance and Horde, Finley and zir mother fled, but zir father could not leave, as he is dedicated to the Alliance, specifically the Aldor. Finley and zir mother settled in Sinnoh region where Finley became a pokemon trainer. Ze traveled all over Sinnoh, caught many pokemon, and earned 8 gym badges. Zir main partner is Buizel, and all of zir other pokemon were lost to pokemon-theft when Finley was in a dangerous place.
