Alternate cover edition or not

Hi!
First of all, sorry if this is the wrong section to put this in, I didn't know where exactly to place it.

So, I am reading this book right now, and typing in the ISBN (9780141325828) this edition http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/64... came up. Mine has another cover, though, it looks like this edition http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16...
I assumed the second one with the right cover was merely an alternate cover edition of the first one, because it doesn't have an ISBN listed on its page, but the page numbers are wrong on this edition (212 instead of 230).
So, I wasn't sure how to proceed. Is the second one an alternate cover edition in which the page numbers should be corrected or is it a completely different one and an alternate cover edition should be made?

It's a Puffin.
This means that an alternate cover edition for the other Puffin book has to be created, right? (I feel very stupid for not checking this before. Sorry.)

Looks like it. Your white cover would be the alternate of the black cover.
