Please Match this book to this author

Hi, I am listed as L. Spevacek - one of the authors. I would like to add this book under the author program to my profile which is Linda Spevacek, and show up in a search as Linda Spevacek. Another Linda Spevacek shows up only - a composer.

Hi Linda,

The way we do that is to disambiguate the author profiles. I have therefore created a profile for you Linda Spevacek, which has two spaces between the first and last name (i.e. Linda^^Spevacek, where each ^ is a space).

I've reverted the change. The bookcover lists L.^^Spevacek as the author NOT Linda. It clearly shows on the book cover and that is the one we should use. Unfortunate perhaps, but that is it.

Amazon have a 'look inside' on "Smart Women Live Their Why" which does have Linda. I've replaced the wrong Linda^Spevacek with the right Linda^^Spevacek.

The 'look inside' of Just Ordinary Moms shows L. Spevacek on the cover and Linda on the copyright page. Amazon don't have the inside cover. Don't we normally go for the front cover?

Yes, but this is a variant on the same name, not a penname.

It gets confusing when a thread linked to a specific book that is also used for other books. If you have any further questions, please start a new thread.

Goodreads search is... odd. Plus there is probably a cache issue. It worked for me, but it may take some time for you to see it.

And FYI, the search function is extra-space-insensitive. Your extra space is only a 'behind the scenes' issue for disambiguating books in the database.
