She was hoping Sparky would squeal and the flames would die down, but she wasn't sure.

Sparky looked over at them and had stopped moving.
The magazine had turned to ash. Sparky was a bit smaller.
He then jumped onto the next one and settled down on it as it burst into flames.
Sparky just wagged his flaming tail as she didn't
Sloppy started screeching to Dave's annoyance.
((Sorry!))She laughed. "Stop setting things on fire, then."
" i think that's how he pees, like sloppy", dave concluded.
"Well, get him outside, where he can pee on concrete."
"Okay, here Sparky!" she scooped up some newspapers and spread them out on the pavement outside.
Sparky skipped over and lit them on fire. He started to get to his smaller size.
"I hope so. We'd better bring it along just in case, and give it to him drop by drop."
"it doesn't flare up into the gas can like it was gonna."
"Well, I don't want to starve him, or make him unhappy."
" he'd probably just burn the grass, then again. If it snows...."
"Well, he's nice and warm and I wouldn't want him to go out." she smiled at Sparky, hugging Sloppy.
Dave picked up a now not as insanely flaming sparky. " i hope he doesn't either."
"He is sweet," she said, "if a bit spasmodic."
" i think he's just a baby, he is small"
"I suppose so. Sloppy's little brother!"
"Like my siblings and me," she said, petting Sloppy.
Sloppy swatted playfully at her hand. " yeah, i can see that"
She swatted at Sloppy's paw with her finger, playing with her like she would with a cat.
" bruuuuru", she yipped happily as she swatted back.
She played with her, moving her fingers like she was playing piano.
She grabbed at her fingers and shoved her head at them, despite having no mouth.
She poked Sloppy, then dodged her fingers around.
Sloppy stretched her paw out to grab at it.
It went into her paw and she quickly shot her hand back.
"It's okay, Sloppy, don't worry. I don't mind my hand getting wet." she tapped Sloppy's paw.
Sloppy shook her paw and a few droplets came out.
