Your import isn't really complete!

This is why I refuse to import. Fortunately, I have far fewer books to transfer than most of you. I'll do it manually, even if it takes forever.

I have more today than I did yesterday when the import was complete. Are you saying to just wait and it will correct itself? That's what happened with the German book that was in my Little Women's review.

ETA: Have a few green covers. Mostly of long out-of-print books.
I'm pretty sure that in the beginning I also ticked an option for syncing and I wonder if that is what is happening now that the import is 'complete'? Really have no idea and I am still looking at a lot of green covers. I think it's going to be a slow process chipping away, 'tidying' up!
I imported 2026 books, with 741 reviews and the initial import took under 10 minutes. I still have some green covers, but it's nice to have my books and reviews over there. I thought about moving them by hand, and then decided to do the import instead I hope the green covers go away quickly. I miss having librarian privilege; are we allowed to alter a book's record in anyway? Does anybody know?
If you wait, some of the green covers should clear up.Or, you can click the green cover and add one from acceptable data sources (booklikes let's you add missing covers, clicking green cover brings up an edition's book page and there's an option underneath to add a cover).
I'm not positive what booklikes considers acceptable data sources but that will generally not be from other book communities/sites, booksellers, or auction/secondhand site. Acceptable source are usually publisher, author, certain library and archive sites that say so in TOS, and a photo/screenshot/scan of your own book, print or digital. Booklikes may have exceptions from making prior arrangements with certain booksellers or other sites.
Thanks, Debbie I have covers on a lot of my kindle books, so I'm quite pleased with my first pass.
Gah! I seem to have more green covers today than I had yesterday. Right. deep breath, walk away. perhaps they will reappear.
The only problem I have right now are the exclusive shelves that got cross-shelved onto "planning to read".

Then, after my import should have been completed, I was missing 95 books, so I started going through and adding them, but then they imported themselves, so I had some listed twice. Fortunately I didn't add many, and I found them again and deleted them. Sigh.

So I really recommend that everyone wait some more before panicking. I can't believe the stuff that made it over - even online fiction, with covers.
