Vex liked to walk along the beach alone. It was one of those peaceful times of the day where he could actually think about his life. He looked off into the sunset, his thoughts cocoon wrapped around him; shutting him off to the rest of the world.

Vex didn't notice the beautiful women standing a short distance away. Most men would stop, their tongue hanging out but nothing was going to distract Vex. That was until he bumped into her nocking them both over into the sand."Oh shit. Are you ok?" He asked helping her up
"I'm fine." He laughed "Just a bit of sand in the hair. Seems you do too." He said motioning to her hair.
He frowned down at her. "I don't usually tell people where I live." He smiled "I much prefer not get stalked." He brushed down his clothes again. So much for $500 jeans.
He smiled, feeling dizzy "I live in that house on top of the hill." In the deepest depths of his mind he knew something was wrong. He felt he shouldn't be telling her but something was forcing his words out. She has a lovely voice He thought, nonchalantly. Almost like it flows with the sea breeze.
"Yes it is a big house. A very big house and no I don't have a girlfriend." He said in a trance. This wasn't right. This wasn't normal. Experience things he never thought possible? He could go to Paris for that. All these things he wanted to say but just couldn't.
He followed her up the hill. They were halfway up when his phone rang in his pocket. Feeling dizzy he answered it. "Hey john...No we are still going ahead with it...Yes I got the call earlier...Well we have enough money in the bank for it...Who cares what she says...What am I doing now?..." He felt dizzy again "Going home." He hung up and stared at The girl. Why was he following her? He could feel his thoughts trying to brake through the glass wall in his mind.
He looked down at her hand on his arm. It was glowing slightly. He could feel a slight hum run through his veins. He had a feeling she wasn't human but if she wasn't then what was she? He felt a wave of dizziness crash through him again. He closed his eyes hard and opened them again. No. Why would she be anything other than human Came a thought other than his own.
Makenzie dropped her backpack on the sand and then plopped down. It'd been a really long day at school. She looked around and then started making a sand volcano/mountain.
Joey spotted a girl making a sand volcano. He started walking I've to he to help her make a really big 1. As he neared her he took out his phone and told his friend he might be late. Then he stand right next to the sand volcano.

She glanced up from her work, squinting at the guy. "Blaze." She always introduced herself giving her nickname, a habit she'd picked up recently. "Yours?"

'Blaze' smiled at him and then focused on the sand again. "Nice to meet you Joey." She pulled an empty plastic bottle of water from her backpack and held it out to him. "Would you fill this with water, please?"
"Yes, my lady."
Joey ran to the ocean and filled the the plastic bottle of water up and sprinting back with th bottle still full

"Thanks!" She patted a spot on the sand. "Pour the water here. Maybe I should've sat closer to the sea but there are snails, and I really don't like snails...." She wished he'd stay to help her, but maybe he was busy or something. "I'm not keeping you from going somewhere else, right? "
"Actually no. I might have to go at about 12 pm but I'm all your today. And snails are weirdly and I don't like them either"he explained. Joey poured th water carefully into the hole and made it look like a volcano
She pushes her glasses up on her nose a bit. "All mine? In that case, I'll do a sand castle now." She looked at him curiously. "Why'd you come to the beach anyways?"
"Well for one thing I got really bored, an fir the other I wanted to relax and make more friends. But, anyways time for that sand castle
"I apparently have a very awkward social life right now so... the beach seemed to be a good place to come to." She started building some walls. "Wait, does that mean I'm your friend now?" Blaze smiled at him.
" Well it actually does Blaze. You know coming to the beach does actually sound like a place to think." He paused. Hoping she would answer he asked awkwardly " If it doesn't mind you, can I know what kind of supernatural are you?"
"Okay." She said, pleased with it. She glanced up at him when he asked her about her supernatural nature. "Ummm... My kind doesn't really have a name. I've been working on finding one but the fantasy name generators in google aren't helping much. You could call us Halflings, though. Some weird mix between dragon and human."
"Cool! My sister is a God so, I'm kind o familiar with this kind of stuff. Her Name is Megan and she gave me some powers. Hold out your hands"

Blaze looked thrilled with this. She held out her hands and her face lit up when he turned into the cute little dragon, touching his head softly with one of her hands while hlding him with the other one. She nodded, smiling. "Very! What's your sister's name?"

"She sounds like a nice girl." She got up, dusting off some sand from her clothes. "I moved here recently so I'd like to make some new friends around. Maybe I could meet her someday?"
"Well check for friends and sure you can meet her"

She looked down at her half-built castle and frowned. "Er... I think I give up on this." She laughed a little. "I was thinking about swimming... for a while. You can come if you want."

He turned Into a water Dragon and swam toward them. "Don't splash water at me!"
She laughed and splashed at him again. "Why not?"
"Because......"I he paused to think what to say. "Well never mind,hey do you want to go to your TRUE home?

"Oh.. it isn't very hard. You have to turn into a dragon and find you more spirit. Now try."

Blaze let him drag her through the portal with her eyes closed. Travels between worlds were not really her thing. "Are we there yet?"

She opened her eyes and smiled widely. "I know." She wrapped her arms around his middle in a hug. "Thanks for bringing me here."

She sighed and tried to do as he said. At first, nothing happened,then with, well... a roar, she found herself saring down at him and screamed in surprise, but it came out more kile a roar too.
"Yes! You are the last chosen one. Blaze, can you turn back to a human before I have to turn into a dragon and get you please?"
"How do I do that?" She didn't wait for his answer though. Being in a dragon form felt almost normal, which was odd and was precisely what irked her. Concentrating again, she fell on her knees, human again.
"You found you true self Blaze, you did it!"
