Yah, I'm very excited to share with you guys, too, because I Hunt Killers is my first ever crime novel and I think my opinion on this one is pretty biased because I have nothing to compare it to.

Jazz is crazy, but I think his friend is even crazier! LOL It's quite eerie. Can you imagine going into a morgue the way they do and getting caught? LOL

At this point I'm not sure if Jazz is a killer or if he just hunts them. I got to chapter 5, so I'll pick it up later and try catching up with you.

I wasn't sure if The Impressionist was saying Jazz didn't know The Impressionist was a killer or Jazz didn't know Jazz was a killer.

Yeah, that part confused me too. But I feel like Jazz has met the killer, or maybe the killer is one of his friend. I love a book that makes us think :D

I wonder if Jasper will end up killing and if he does, will he kill (view spoiler)[Melissa or Connie? (hide spoiler)] It would be terrible to live in parent's legacy who was a serial killer. I imagine people would always wonder about you and if you had the same proclivity! What a horrible life, but worse is having your serial killer father always in your head! To see women as "special" but dispensable? That's really freaky. Boy his dad sure did a number on him!

Howie goes along with because his mom, everyone else...except Jazz...and his blood disorder holds him back, it restricts him and he doesn't like it so he takes risks.

At least that the best explanation I can come up with. :)

The Impressionist: is (view spoiler)[ Fiona Goodling's killer, right? And just how is he anyway? Now he has his sights on Helen, and he "watched her slender fingers...Just noticing." Ewwwwww GROSS!! (hide spoiler)]

Jazz: (view spoiler)[ I think that he knows so much about serial killers due to his father, so I think he's right about the serial killer. It seems like he does have the proclivity to kill as well, or he simply thinks he does because of his father always being in his head. Words stay with you forever! I think that if he does kill, Ginny might be one he chooses. The end of chapter 11 says, "He was what he was, whether he knew it yet or not," which makes me think he is a killer, even if he hasn't killed yet. Is it possible he has killed and doesn't know it? Jazz (view spoiler)[ He is constantly fighting that urge or mind set. That's one of the things I loved about Jazz was his fight to be good! I mean, I cannot imagine what it must be like for a young person to have that kind of inner dialogue on a constant replay in their head. Yes! His dad did a number on him alright! (hide spoiler)]

The Impressionist: (view spoiler)[ Okay, I just read what I needed to in order to answer my question of how Jazz knew. I guess the Impressionist is copy-catting Billy's murders. OMG That's like a new Jack the Ripper. But the Impressionist doesn't have three names, and a middle name. A copy cat would make sense and I'm sure Jazz would have his dad's murder's ingrained in his mind forever. (hide spoiler)]

After my husband left for work 30 minutes ago I was in the part about (view spoiler)[Helen and G. William asking Jazz how he knew with such accuracy, and there was a little noise but my "sweet" little Bichon (in my profile picture) jumped off the couch and started barking. Needless to say I am not even sure my heart is still working properly. OMG I don't know if I can read this book in the dark with the TV off, the way I prefer to read. (hide spoiler)] LOL

It seems a little unbelievable that The Impressionist can finish victims with same eye colors, hair colors, jobs and initials as Billy's victims. It makes the book very interesting, though.

Done! OMG I LOVED this book!!! I love mystery/murder, but I LOVE psychological thrillers, and that's what this is. I felt so bad for Jazz and how Billy was ALWAYS in his head!!! OMG what an EVIL father!!!

Don't read my spoilers until you are done because it will give away who The Impressionist is, thus the killer.

I must say that I did guess the killer!! It was funny though because I was going to post my guess and see what you thought, but my husband was on the computer. But RIGHT after I had an idea of who it could be, I kid you not, the very next chapter he (view spoiler)[ ruled out that person as the killer, so I figured I was wrong. But it was Fuller after all. I just thought it odd that he showed up at Jazz's car window and demanded some info. Then he spoke at the memorial? I thought that was too strange. (hide spoiler)]

What I don't get (if anyone has read this and can answer this for me, please do) is The Impressionist (view spoiler)[ has the same finger tattoos as Billy. They were working together then? Do I understand that correctly? And where, or WHERE is Billy? I'm so afraid he will want to kill Connie! And what about Gramma? (hide spoiler)]

Once we knew what Billy wanted (view spoiler)[ Jazz to do and Jazz was moving the birdbath, I thought SURE he was going to dig up his mother. I'm glad he didn't. (hide spoiler)]

My question about whether or not Jazz (view spoiler)[ murdered his mother or not still remains. I sure hope not, but Billy made it sound like he did. Right? Or maybe that's just more manipulation and messing with him psychologically, (hide spoiler)]

hi just got home :) Glad you loved it too Vic. It threw me off track when Jeff gave speech during the candlelight vigil. I suspected him too, but I was more convinced that Erickson was the killer.

I was shocked when reading the scene where Billy made Jazz watch him kill Rusty. What a monster, right?

I'm ready to read book 2 whenever you are ready :)
