If you like true crime, mysteries or thrillers, you've come too the right place.
At one time, I carried 2 books in my purse - on the off chance that I would finish a book in the middle of the day and have nothing to read on the commute home.
Welcome to the group, Sydney and good luck with your Nursing studies. I'm a bit of a voracious reader too, usually have a couple of books on the go and I tend to like most anything. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here and will get many recommendations.
Hi! My name is Susanne Leist and I'm an avid reader--mystery, thriller, suspense...whatever captures my attention. I am joining the group to hear what the other members are reading and enjoying.
It's difficult to pick one murder mystery, there are so very many. If I look through my bookshelf, I seem to favour mysteries with female protagonists. I don't know if it's the variety or the different sensibilities, but I do have a preference there. Karin Slaughter, Jan Burke, Nevada Barr are some favourite writers.
I also tend toward female leads. I think that is why I read more books written by women. I love Linda Fairstein, Sharon Sala, Linda Howard, Lisa Unger, Lisa Jackson, and so on.
Hi, Sydney! Welcome to the group! My name is Raphael T. Harlan, and I'm an self-published author, freelance editor, and reader of different genres of fiction and non-fiction. There are different mystery favorites that the group members enjoy reading. Of all of the mystery books, what are some of the books you've read that are written by an indie author? Any e-books?
I'm a fan of all the variants of the crime novel. Crime fiction is definitely my favourite genre. I shall definitely be checking out the bookshelf for recommendations...
