It's a quirky urban fantasy called The Complete Guide to Being Evil, and it's about a young, impetuous mage named Kalara who gets in trouble with a local necromancer. And instead of leaving town, laying low for a while, or trying to appease him, she makes a deal with a devil to gain more power and win her little magi war.
