this book is pretty slap stick silly....not at all what I was expecting...

Loki (view spoiler)[ is this the same guy that was leading the girl in the graveyard in time with mirrors. We met him right? In one of the prequels. He was going into the dreams to kill people - and she saved Cinderella.

hmmmm....so, is this Loki from the past or were we seeing Loki in the future. Jeez, this is confusing (hide spoiler)]

and the writing is just...odd. there is A LOT to take in! I feel lost from chapter 1 still......

finished Boy who is a shadow chapter... Confusing!!!! Well, after reading those prequels I should have been more used to his writing, but heck, it's still messing with my head.

Like the godmother was blind, right? But how did she knew Charmwill was with Parrot?

okay, yeah...I'm through 10 chapters
I stopped at Bedtime Stoories

I'm so sad...but I'm not really liking this. It's just silly when I thought it would be kind of serious
it was such a cool spin on the fairy tales, but it's like he wanted to put everything in one book so he threw it all in and threw it all at us at once

and all these ideas are just losing me. almost none of this makes sense and I won't remember all the important details in the midst of all the other silly things he's thrown in -

I think the slap-stick silly kind of starts at the next chapter

to me things really started going sideways - where I was losing what the heck the author was talking about around chapter 5 or 6.....

there are all kinds of things that don't make sense.
Carmen....(view spoiler)[is a car. it took me at least a few pages for me to figure it out. I kept thinking "when is carmen going to say something?" only to realize it wasn't another person in the car.... (hide spoiler)]

I hope you like it more and I hope it starts to make more sense so I like it more soon..... otherwise this one is going to be pure torture to get through. I'm having a tough time staying awake when I read it lol!
