Michael I want to read the full and complete text/unabridged.Which edition can I find this?

Bryan The one I read was this one.

It was pretty cool.

Bryn Hammond I have a couple: the newer Le Morte Darthur, which aims to be very authentic; and the older Eugene Vinaver edition, Complete Works. But there are more editions than these that are unabridged. Info in the Arthuriana group if you want to go there.

Old-Barbarossa The Penguin 2 volume edition is unabridged, but the Le Morte D'Arthur: The Winchester Manuscript by Oxford is abridged (the very jousty Book of Tris is heavily edited...don't think much is lost by this) but still very good, top notes too. Read both myself, prefer the Winchester.

Sandra Waugh If you want the 'real deal' look for the Caxton edition of Sir Thomas Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur. (I was told this by an English professor at the University of York, when I studied there for a semester--subsequently bought the 2 volume set, University of California Press). Whatever you find, enjoy!
