Max walked down and sat next to Gavin. "I got nothing, but she's probably going to be mad at you for a while."

Alex made sure she didn't see Gavin and ran out.
"Alex?" Gavin shouted when he heard the door slam.
"Alex?" Gavin shouted when he heard the door slam.
"She's going to a friend's house." Max reported.
Gavin looked at Max, "Which friend?"
"Dont know. She didnt say." Max said.
Gavin stood up, "We need to find her!"
"Ok!" Max said. He stood up too.
Gavin grabbed his phone and keys and ran out.
Max followed after him, worried about Alex.
After hours they returned home, not knowing where she was. Gavin was close to crying and Victoria was comforting him.
Max called Alex on his phone, hoping she would pick up.
"Max?" Alex said down the line.
"Alex." Max said, happily. "Where are you I want to see you."
"I'm at Andrew's house." she replied.
"Where's that at?" Max asked.
"Ok thanks." Max said. "Bye."
"She's at Andrew's house. Is Andrew a boy?" Max asked.
"Andrew's one of her best friends, don't worry man. He and her are platonic."
"Ok good." Max said. "Im going to go over there. You guys stay here. "
Gavin hesitated but then nodded, "Call me when you see her."
"You got it." Max said. He left and headed for the house. He soon arrived there and knocked on the door.
A nerdy boy opened the door, "You must be Max. I'm Andrew. Alex is playing video games in my room. You're welcome to come up."
"Cool." Max said. He walked into the house and followed Andrew up to his room.
Alex was sat on the carpet playing a video game with one hand as her other was in a cast.
"Alex." Max said. He sat down next to her.
"Hey." she said and smiled lightly, "What can I do you for?"
"I just wanted to make sure you're all right." Max said.
"Do you want to stay at my place tonight?" Max asked.
Alex looked his face over, "Yes please."
She smiled lightly, "Andrew, I'm going to stay with Max. Say hi to your Mum from me?"
"Will do." he said, playing the game.
"Will do." he said, playing the game.
"Bye nice meeting you." Max said to Andrew.
"You too." Andrew said. Alex picked up her stuff.
Max walked out and opened the passenger door for Alex.
Max smiled and shut the door. He drove to his appartment. "I only have one bedroom. You can use it." He told Alex.
Alex looked down to hide her disappointment, "Will you... um..."
Max waited for her to say it as he opened the door to inside his appartment.
Alex looked down, "Will you be in your room too?"
"Do you want me to be?" Max asked. He was going to use the hida bed.
She nodded gently, her cheeks heating up.
"Okay." she said and smiled, "I'm going to put my pyjamas on."
"Ok." Max said. He walked into the kitchen.
She got them o n and then smiled lightly at Max, "Can I do anything?"
"What do you mean?" Max asked.
"Want any help? Like a chore?"
