As my name appears on the Goodreads featured edition of this discombobulated tome I felt I should explain that I had nothing whatsoever to do with it but felt it raises the question of the veracity of accreditation on Goodreads. Payne left our writing relationship which followed my production of Discovery's Company of Whales having failed to submit his half of the contracted commission. So there was an MS once -or my half of one - by it is not this personalised over-extended and under-written essay from which I have always disassociated myself and will continue so to do.
