Overall, I would say that I enjoyed this book. Biss did a very good job in my opinion on really showing all of the different aspects of racism. I'm not oblivious to the fact that racism happens, but this opened up my eyes on a whole new level. I also enjoyed the fact that she didn't know her true identity. It is a struggle all of us face in life, and I enjoyed that about this book. It is relate able. I don't usually go for non-fiction books but this was a good read and had many real life aspects.
