* Description
Exclusively Pumping? Pumping at Work? Expressing and Supplementing? This Book is for You!

We all know that pumping sucks - in all senses of the words. You want to do what's best for your baby; you just wish it wasn't so darn hard...

Written by a former exclusive pumping mother (who survived sixteen months, so it must work!), How to Survive Pumping: Tips to Make Expressing Breast Milk Easier on You is full of simple yet proven ideas that experienced pumpers (including the author) wish they'd known when they started out.

Make Your Breast Pumping Life Easier With Tips to Help You:
*Save Time
*Feel Less Tied Down
*Heal Pumping Pain
*Live With Breastfeeding Aversion, D-MER or Sad Nipple Syndrome
*Deal With a Pump-Hating Baby
*Find Motivation and Support
*Get All the Information You Need on Pumping Breast Milk

No matter why you are pumping, the ideas in this book will help you reach your personal pumping goal.

This book assumes that you are already pumping, so it doesn't cover deciding to pump (does anyone?), choosing a pump or building a milk supply in any detail.

How to Survive Pumping: Tips to Make Expressing Breast Milk Easier on You is approximately 7,000 words long.

Thank you

Susie (dragonsusie) | 2469 comments I have just looked on Amazon and have noticed that there is a different cover: http://www.amazon.com/How-Survive-Pum.... Just want to check which one is correct before adding it? (another reason for asking is that people usually like to have the edition they've purchased shelved, matching ASIN/ISBN and cover)

Susie (dragonsusie) | 2469 comments Oh, and looks like someone has literally just added the Kindle edition...!

Not someone, me. Blah. Good catch, Susie. I hate ACEs. And I hate stepping on other librarians' toes. Can you do the ACEs?

Jennifer Roberts | 21 comments I've just uploaded a new cover - the one I gave the link to. It should be live on Amazon in a few hours. Can you put the current one on as an alternative, but make the new one the primary.

Thank you.

Susie (dragonsusie) | 2469 comments Don't worry - am an ace at ACEs (I think!). Both the alternative-cover editions have been added and combined with the other editions.

It's impossible for us to set primary editions (only GR authors can do it, I believe, otherwise it's crowd sourced), but it appears that the newest cover (that you linked to) is the primary as that's the one that appears on the author profile.

We can't do that, I'm sorry. The new cover has to be marked as the alternate cover edition, that's policy. And as librarians, we can't set which version is the default edition. However, as the author, you will be able to do that once you claim your author profile. Once you are granted author status, go to the edition you wish to set as the default, and click the "edit" link. On the edition's edit page there will be a link on the right side, about mid-way down the page and just before the link to refresh stats, to "Set this book as the primary edition for this work".

I think there might be some delay between claiming your author profile and getting a response from Goodreads. Without an author to set the default edition manually, Goodreads will use whichever edition has been shelved by users most. Since your book is new to Goodreads, you should add the new cover edition to your shelf (and get your friends too, if you can). That should make it the default edition as well.

Z-squared | 8575 comments Susie, I'm switching the ACE label to the new covers, I've been spanked a few times for not doing that before :P One of many reasons I hate ACEs.

Ah, OK - sorry, didn't think of that at the time!!

Also, appears Jennifer already has an author profile, so won't be able to claim a second one AFAIK (Jennifer: it is possible to switch, if you wish, or have both profiles linked).

Jennifer Roberts | 21 comments Okay, I don't understand a lot of the above. How can I get a linked profile for this name?

Margarette (MargaretteEakright) See if the library has links for you. Good Luck!

Jennifer, try contacting support: http://www.goodreads.com/about/contac...

I would include links to both your current profile and the unclaimed profile of your pen name in your support request.
