Help - Librarian needed!

I can't replace the cover for my own book. Please, can someone with librarian status pretty please go and delete the picture that's there, so I can upload an updated version?
I'll send you a free kindle copy of the book (when it's finalised)

ps, I'm sure I did have librarian status, but I seem to have lost some books off my list???

You can add the cover as an alternate, but shouldn't delete the original cover.

Which books have you lost?

haven't lost any, I've ammended the cover and now goodreads won't let me change it. It's frustrating.

Sorry, I misread that. A few I've recently added as read. I'm not very good at adding my read books on here.

a new picture generally means a new edition which means another new book needs to be added and then combined.



what would also help if we actually had a picture of the new cover? (you think we can read your mind or something?)

All I need is the cover deleting on this book The Dark Stone , which isn't published yet, so I can then add another at some point.
Would it be easier if I mailed someone at goodreads?
It seems strange that I can't edit it myself.

I truly didn't realise I couldn't edit my own work when I listed the book, pre-release. :(

Authors can't edit their own books after they add them for the first time. GR policy.


Looks to me like nothing needs changed but I deleted and re-uploaded it anyway to make it bigger

There were some subtle differences (bigger font and a couple of other bits), not much but I knew.
At least I know for next time, not to be too hasty with uploading.
The one up now is the right one, so it can stay.
