There's been a Dresden Files TV show already, but.... if you could have your way, who would you cast?

I wasn't aware of the TV series. After researching it, the actor who played Harry Dresden didn't look how I had the character pictured in my mind. I thought it should've been a tall, lanky guy with long thin hair. A Tom Hiddleston if you will, Ez ;-)

I was familiar with the TV show and that did colour my perceptions a little. My brain!Dresden ended up like Christian Kane in a trenchcoat.

I can cast the trenchcoats with more ease than Dresden, though I think I'd go for Steve Valentine.

I couldn't help thinking of Patrick Stewart on the holodeck playing Dixon Hill for the office scenes.

PS Tom Hiddleston has fabulous hair.

I couldn't stop picturing him as a young Alan Rickman.
