In this the 8th book in the Cape Light series, finds it holiday time and not everyone is happy. Molly Willoughby-Harding has everything most women want, the doctor husband, beautiful children, a fantastic catering service, brand new georgeous house and yet she is not happy. On top of it she is pregnant. Miranda Potter has found an injured man in her orchard who has lost his memor, and she has offered him a place to live until he recovers it. The church has become a tourist attraction because a wooden angel was found int he basement and everyone thinks it has special powers. So many things to unravel.

Lindy, if you're entire team has all of their reviews posted by 12:01 am central time, then your captain can roll the die and determine what spot you'll be in. And one of us mods will have the alternate posted at that time too.
Lindy you need to post your reviews in your team's thread (First In Line). I had no idea you had even posted your review yet! :)
I just wanted to clarify something, if you're team hasn't rolled yet you can't start reading the alternate. The only exception would be if a teammate had dropped out and it caused you to miss a roll and you ended up rolling late.
So here's where we're at after Sunday's rolls:1: 21
2: 21
3: 18
4: 18
5: 23
6: 20
7: 21
8: 19
9: 25

You'll get more time but you lose a turn which doesn't help the team. It's best to have your reviews in the day before when possible so captains can roll quick.
you need time to read them, yesterday we were late so I lost the 4 hrs i have on sunday morning to read, so i am reading a very short book
Sometimes it's going to be that way. I've had to pick short books a couple times myself.
as long as they are at least 150 pages (per Goodreads) or they don't count!
Good reads is always for me longer than the gbook actually is logner than the book actually is. I amonly 5 mi from Trubull, CT
I'm 64 miles from Trumbull. Not that that adds anything to the issue.
Jenne quite a few of the ebooks (not kindle) may list zero pages if you're looking at GR page count. What do you look at then?
For the most part I have a good idea of what is a book vs a novella. I know some indie authors that only come in ebook format don't list pages. I really wish there was a way to convert to page #'s here.

Yup there's a link on each teams thread for the game spreadsheet and let me tell you this spreadsheet is a breeze to maintain vs WWGRF :)

If I was smart I would combine this one with the scavenger and only read one book but I keep reading one for each.
Jenne, I'm reading Her Billionaires: Boxed Set, it goes from 1 to 4. Can I use it for spot #23? I'm reading the whole bunch.
Yeah it's a stretch but not really any different than the ruling on anthologies so you're good.
Jenne~Here's my question:What if you're reading the Anita Blake series but are past single digits into the teens~How could you use your team's roll then?
You'd have to land on the spot. So if you're past the teens already they won't work.

Quick question - I am reading The Sweet Spot by Laura Drake for this week - book one in a series; our space is 31.The cover of the book states it's Sweet on a Cowboy, Book 1 but Goodreads doesn't show it's a series.
Nothing Sweeter, book 2 in the series on the cover on goodreads shows it's a Sweet as a Cowboy novel.
will this count or should I pick another book 1 or 3 in a series?
