I love that...two bit hustlers. Very creative. But ummm, about watching taillights. I'm amused.

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Around an hour and half to go! Captains don't forget to post your spot and also that you have to change the die to 1 before rolling :)

message 161: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments And the game begins :)
If anyone has any questions I'll be around for a little bit before I crash. I'll check in first thing in the am too. Good luck and happy reading!

Question. If you role a two, could. I read a book with two in the title, not two in the series?

message 164: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments No Ezi it'd have to be a second in the series, sorry.

message 165: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) | 596 comments Twisted Perfection (Perfection, #1; Rosemary Beach, #3) by Abbi Glines would be fine for number 3 right? It's a first book in one series but it's also number 3 in another.

message 166: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments You're good it's listed as a 3 here on GR

message 167: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) | 596 comments Thank you kindly.

message 168: by JoAnne (new)

JoAnne (joannemwct) | 2511 comments on the alternate page do you want to state what timeframe it's for as you pick them so we don't get confused?

also, would it be helpful in our post if we also listed number of pages (as per goodreads)? since books have to be 150+ pages?

message 169: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Yeah JoAnne I'm gonna add the dates on the alternate. You don't have to list your page numbers unless you want to :)

message 171: by Lesley (new)

Lesley (laparks) I know I'm on the late side of things here, but if you need someone else to fill up a team or as a backup, I'd be happy to join in.

message 172: by Sheila (last edited Oct 07, 2013 10:56AM) (new)

Sheila (sheilaj) Jenne, I'm still not really clear what the captains do to post that the team has reviewed all their books. Are you just checking the different team threads or are we supposed to post something saying we are done.

message 173: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Your post #25 in your team's thread is perfect. Now when you roll Thursday and go to post the new spot just include a link to your post 25 and you're all set :)

message 174: by Paris (last edited Oct 07, 2013 12:53PM) (new)

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments So Jenne would our post then look something like this...or are you looking for more information than that?

Roll 2: 5
New Spot: 6

Reviews from Roll 1

message 175: by Amy (new)

Amy H (twinypa) | 426 comments How do I post a like that you just did for your reviews?!

message 176: by Paris (new)

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments To post things you would first get the direct link to your post and to that you click on the time it was posted and then that'll change the address in your address bar. Copy that address and then to write out the html to make the link you would type < a href=" and then paste the direct address to your post and close the html with another "> (Make sure there are no spaces between the < and the letter a, I had to put it there so that it'll show). Then you would type whatever you want your link to say after the > and then close the link by putting < /a> (again delete that space between the < and the /).

So it should look something like this (again without the spaces)
< a href="direct address here">Link to Reviews< /a>

My question Jenne is where do we put this info. Do we edit our original post in the posting thread or add a new post with that info? OK so we don't post anything like "our team finished our books", we just roll again and put the info Paris showed and you can check the link to make sure, right? I think I've got it. Thanks

message 180: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Yeah put it with your new roll at the post your spot thread. I was gonna make a separate thread for it but didn't want to add to the cap'ns workload.

message 181: by Paris (last edited Oct 07, 2013 03:00PM) (new)

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments Thanks Jenne. I saw some people, like you, were going Halloween and I thought it sounded fun. I love your new avatar too!

Here's a question. If we get our reviews all done before Thursday, do you still want us to wait to post them until we can roll. Or could we post the link and then edit the post with our roll once we can roll again?

message 182: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments If you want to post it early that's fine with me.

message 183: by Paris (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) @ Lindy - you have posted your review in the wrong thread. You need to post it in the group thread for First In Line

message 191: by Sheila (new)

Sheila (sheilaj) Every time the dice is rolled do we each have the choice to do the series OR do the alternate or do we have to commit to one or the other for the whole game?

message 192: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments The choice is yours each time muhahahaha :)

message 193: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Sickle (thereadingdiaries) | 1343 comments Quick question about the alternate. Can it be a series or does it need to be a standalone. Example Divergent is the series while The Night Circus is a standalone.

Of course, I'm not Jenne, but I would think if it is on the alternate thread SHELF "Love the Cover", then I think it would be acceptable.

message 197: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Lindy it doesn't look like your team has rolled yet. We won't know until then.

JoAnne (joannemwct) | 2511 comments Lindy wrote: "What does this mean Roll 2: 5 New Spot: 6? What do i hve to read now?"

If this was your team you would have to read the 6th book in a series OR an alternate book in this case from the "Love the Cover" shelf.
