No it's the space you're on that determines the book. The die determines how many spaces to move.

What JoAnne said lol, when you go to roll though you'll have to change it to one die. That website automatically sets it to 2 dice unless you change it each time.

But first you want us to post what # we rolled and what spot we land on? Did you want us to build the one post link that links everyone's reviews in our own threads or under the posting thread?

Oh BTW you have my name misspelled when you added my name as captain in the Team 2's thread.

I swear I have like a mental block with your name lol. I'll get it fixed. When you're posting the new spot you're moving too you're also including the previous spots reviews. Just keep a post on your teams thread and provide a link to the post when you're posting the new spot. Please let me know if I'm not explaining it good lol.

Just a quick question that I don't think was covered: (and I'm a board game nerd, so this is the sort of thing I think of!)

When we get to the endgame (with maybe several teams close to the finish line), will the teams need to roll the exact number to get them across the finish line or just anything higher than the amount of places missing?
AND is spot 75 the finish or do you have to move out to the "Finish" spot to have won?

Oh, sorry, and just a thought on when the alternatives will be chosen (as I'm likely to be doing them mostly):

If they're chosen on Wednesdays and Saturdays instead, then they will be available as soon as the "reading day" starts... Does that make sense?
I'm mostly thinking this because I'm 7 hours ahead of US Central time, so I might be able to get an early start most days... :)

You'll need to roll past the 75 spot to win. So even if you landed on spot 75 you'd have to roll one more time to pass it. The soonest someone could win would be on spot 70 and they'd have to roll a 6 to win. The alternates won't be chosen a day early. All of us mods have worked it out to whoever can post it the soonest will. Saturday nights for the most part I can stay up till midnight so I can post before I go to bed. Also one of our mods is on west coast time so she can post at 10 her time and it be the next day here. I promise we'll all do the best we can to have those up asap since time is of the essence with this one.

It's perfectly fine about the alternatives - I'm unlikely to get up at 7 a.m. any day anyway, just wanted to ask :) I know you guys work really hard to make it work optimally! :)

If multiple teams are on spot 75 and all do that 1 more roll then who wins? Just which ever team rolls the biggest number?
