One of the advantages of e-books is that you don't need to fit them on shelves, so they're always in stock :-)
Same here. I buy a lot older out of print books. I've also been downloading many free classics. I've had a nook for a few years now and my kindle is about a year old. I buy more contemporary books on my nook. And new and old favorites.
Have you noticed yourself reading faster? I sure did when I switched to an ereader. I can finish a smallish book (200-300 pages) in a day now. I actually have a hard time reading real books now.

I have just started noticing faster reading. I thought it was imagined at first. But, I have been knocking back the reading material. I am also noticing less eye fatigue. Must be the back-lighting.
I originally got the Kindle to get the older books I couldn't find physical copies of.
The end to eye fatigue was a bonus.

I also have a kindle, i use it to find books that are hard to find in the UK, sometimes you can find out of print books. My wife likes to download the free classics. So i am also happy with the kindle. It does not replace a real book but more supplements my collection.

I think it may be the tiny print in some paperbacks I've read but it is still interesting that we both actually prefer the e-ink.

I bought my Kindle in April 2013. I bought it because I saw several new authors who were only publishing ebooks. There were also a couple of other books that I really wanted to read that I could never find in print at a reasonable price that were available for cheap on Kindle.
But, an interesting thing happened when I bought a Kindle. Note the publication dates of what I have been reading. I never imagined I would be reading older titles.
