The Child Thief question

Hello guys, I am on the last pages of the book and I have a little question about it. What happened after Nick first visits the Deviltree? I remember every major event, but I think my mind messed a little bit with the timeline/chronological order. It doesn't have to be very detailed and just the modern day Avalon. By the way, I am at the chapter where Peter is cruzified.Thank you very much.
