ISBN Conflict - Different Pub, Date, Pages, Cover

The book listed above has the same ISBN and ISBN13 as a book I own and have in hand. I created a new listing for the book I own with its specs here:

As this new listing sits, the ISBN is in the ISBN13 spot. I couldn't change it because it puts it in conflict with the above yellow/blue covered book linked above this text window. What is the procedure in this case? I cannot combine my 'new edition' either since the ISBN is in the wrong spot, but this is necessary to permit the listing's creation. I don't know if its common to have ISBN conflicts with books of different publishers, dates, page numbers, and cover! Ultimately, I'd like to change the yellow/blue cover listing to the specs I have, but I don't know if the actual blue/yellow cover book is listed with that ISBN.
Please advise.

The "new" edition is called an Alternative Cover Edition. Leave the ISBN fields blank and leave a note stating it is a ACE with the ISBN numbers. Then combine the books.

For the other edition, move the isbn from the isbn13 to the isbn field and add the isbn 13. You can use ISBN converter if you don't have the number.

P.S. Books reuse ISBN numbers. You don't need to fill the ISBN in those cases [and when a book doesn't have one]. You don't need ISBN to combine books, just the correct author name.

Thanks, I have done what you have suggested. I am currently having difficulty combining my edition with the larger listing. I don't know if its a time delay, but it isn't appearing. I tried changing the sort title of my edition but didn't help.

The problem is you have it under the wrong author, so you don't see it in the combine page. Remove the S. from the author and give it another try.

P.S. If you ARE SURE Winston S. Churchill profile: IS THE SAME Winston Churchill profile removing the S. from the profile will MERGE THE TWO, and then you can combine all the books that need combining. This will save you the manual change of the author of each book.
