My thoughts on the book, Shade of Vampire

My thought on this starting vampire series are amazement and pure bliss. It captivated me to the point were I was awe struck, sharing the same feelings the o so mighty prince (Derek) felt and the dear Sofia, thought I was a bit unsure of her loyalty and desire to escape horror were strong. But I guess that just add to the magic of the overall story. I am truely disappointed to find the lack of background history to what the real issue is about. And to add to that, you really don't get to understand what with all the rivalry until you read the epilogue, where you get a hint of what's the big deal, as well as to how much power the main character are dealing with. For what I figured, the author here did a great job by luring me into the depst of the whole story and made me part of the plot without making obvious. She made me feel that I was Sofia, that I was the girl trape and trying to survive, but giving glipst as to what my (Sofia) fate will become of. To finished up, she add this wonderfull and sinister few words that literary made my bone child: “Blood would be shed.”
