Posted my final update. This was fun, but I have to say, I'm glad it's over. Two weeks is just too long for something like this to continue *sigh*

I can't imagine you NOT being burnt out at the pace you were reading Barb! You read almost as much as you did the entire month of September haha!

Barb, according to my math, your post adds up to 7,842 and you have it at 7,721? I had 7,707 before you added your last 135 pages?

Yes it is. I forgot to add some of yesterday's pages to my total for the day, so those were missing from today's total too.

By estimation, I read another 90ish pages.

We are in fourth so far, as long as WBY doesn't trade in a bunch of the big book BAP cupcakes. :)

I think we are still waiting on some final updates but I believe that all the teams close to us have reported in final numbers already.

Hopefully that means we won!!!

We were indeed! Then we all picked up the reading pace AND M. Mango cashed in some of the bonus cupcakes the team has earned, and we jumped up in the standings :)

Well, I have a book I am halfway done with that I will finish today. I have to read 21 books before the end of the year so I can actually finish the Decade Challenge this time, so I will be reading every free moment I get.

I'm going to try to finish a few of the series I'm in the middle of now AND some of the netgalleys I've put off for too long before the end of the year!

I posted two finished books yesterday which may be the reason for discrepancy of books we were behind ;)

We just paced ourselves ;) It's like a marathon run.

And it helps that we've really gelled as a team lately. IMO, we're peaking at just the right time! But, we have to keep it up, we can't assume that the other teams aren't going to push to the finish :)
