City of Bones staring Lily Allen has scored an average rating of 4/10 on Rotten Tomatoes.
Unfortunately the film, City of Bones, didn't make a satisfactory opening at the Box office which has led to "City of Ashes" being delayed. Read the story on Huffingtonpost .
Unfortunately the series has been put on hold indefinitely which was why I shelved this into the "book series cut short in film" slot but this doesn't mean there isn't hope. Maybe when the timing is right and the movie budget recovers, we'll see a sequel. Maybe. Until then, we'll just have to hope.
