Alexis frowned, she watched until the car turned around the bend. SHe sighed and prayed for the best turning around and leaving in the opposite direction.

Brent pulled up to the man's house after awhile. He helped the guy get out of the car and up to his doorstep. He handed the guy his keys. He went inside, not saying anything to Brent. Brent walked down the porch and took out a black sharpie. He drew the sign of the devil underneath one of the porch boards. They'll come for him... He put the sharpie back in his pocket and started wandering around again.
Alexis finished her errands and stopped a while away for her dinner. Her mind wandered to the demon and poor man she saw earlier today. She instantly felt guilty for giving him up and knew it was wrong. She groaned and walked into a quiet area. Using her powers she located the mans address and walked over to it. Her eyes widened seeing the sign that imprinted on his door, and scowled knowing it was the demon. She lifted her arms up and a bright light hit the sign slowly erasing it many it look like black blood dripping down and then disappearing.
Brent walked until he approached a run down apartment building. He walked inside and began climbing a long set of stairs. He reached his room at the top and went inside. He stopped when he saw a figure standing at his window. He keeled when he realized who it was. "I wasn't expecting you my Lord..." The man didn't turn to face him. He continued to stand at the window. "Stand up Solun..."he commanded. Brent bit his lip. Whenever Satan used a demons real name, it meant that he wasn't at all pleased with that particular demon. Brent slowly stood and asked, "Is there trouble my Lord?" Satan continued to stand at the window. He said in a low voice, "You were supposed to submit your sacrifice tonight. Where is it?" Brent bit his lip and cursed in his head. The angel must have found it and erased it... "My Lord, I did submit a sacrifice tonight, I swear I did." Satan then turned around and faced Brent. "Why should I believe you?" At that very moment, a strong force pushed Brent to the ground and began to strangle him.
Alexis frowned and walked back to her house. She slumped onto the couch switching on the t.v. She tried to distract herself by watching a show, but it didn't really work. Her mind was constantly on the demon she met today. Why would he do something like that? she thought to herself. Well he was a demon so he was naturally evil, but still it wasn't something a normal demon would do.
Brent struggled against the force that strangled him, but he couldn't shake it off. He started to feel weak, and he struggled less. Satan stared down at him for awhile. Then, the force disappeared, and Brent started taking deep breaths. "You're weak Solun. Nothing but a little morsel. You're acting more like a human everyday." Brent stood up slowly and bowed his head. "It will never happen again my Lord, I promise." Satan snorted. "I highly doubt that Solun. This is strike one. Get up to strike three...and you're out." Brent his lip and nodded. "I understand...my Lord." Satan sighed and turned around, opening the window. "Good," he said quietly. Then, he morphed into a crow and flew out the window.
Alexis got up and made herself some dinner feeling bored. She warmed up some pasta, and leaned against the kitchen counter. Being an angel she was expected to stay in her limits and do all good. She admits only to herself that sometimes she became curious what the other creatures were able to do in there free time, seeing they had absolutley no care in the world.
Brent closed the window after Satan made his exit. He sighed heavily and rested his head against the window. Fucking hell... He frowned and walked over to his room. He laid on his bed. He just stayed like that, not moving or closing his eyes. Then, he started thinking about something he never thought about in a long time: God.
Alexis sighed and left the kitchen not feeling hungry anymore. Being a goody two shoes was boring, and sometimes she would occasionally have the urge to go wild, do fun and crazy things. Be normal. She always scolded herself for having such thoughts, but now she was wondering if maybe, just for a week..... She groaned knowing it could never happen.
Brent sighed and shook his head. "This is ridiculous..."he muttered to himself. He got up out of bed and grabbed his apartment key. He walked out towards the hallway, locked his door, and went down to the lobby. He walked out and began to wander around again. He was still thinking about God and Heaven. It must be wonderful up there... He bit his lip a little. He knew this would piss Satan off if he found out, but he honestly didn't care at the moment.
Alexis walked out onto her front porch and watered the plants. She saw some kids biking along laughing and making perverted jokes. She winced slightly realizing she was laughing inside at sme of them. She leaned against the railing moving her hand out, feeling small tiny raindrops fall on it. She smiled, she always liked the rain.
Brent started to actually acknowledge his surroundings. A lot of people were laughing and talking all around him. He frowned slightly. This is one reason why being dedicated to Satan is horrible...You don't have any friends... He shook his head and continued walking.
Alexis walked down her stairs walking barefoot onto the road. She glanced seeing kids and adults rush inside the rain poured down harder. She on the other hand enjoyed it. She walked down the block, and turned seeing an empty ground with many trees. She walked into it.
Brent continued walking until he was standing in front of a church. He stood there, staring at it for quite some time. "Maybe I should attend at least one sermon..."he muttered to himself. He sighed heavily and looked down at his feet. He stood there, letting the rain soak his clothes.
Alexis laughed and started running around in the rain, her shirt and shorts getting soaked. She smiled and leaned against a tree. She didnt see any lightning so it seemed okay. She walked down a small hill that led to a small road. She looked down and saw her church se went to every Sunday. She sighed thinking about the new boring sermon the priest would present. She scolded herself again and got rid of those mean thoughts.
Brent lifted his head slightly, feeling the same presence he felt at the lake. She's nearby... He slowly started to walk again, passing the church.
Alexis turned away from the church and walked back towards her house, as she heard thunder vibrate over her. She sighed and hurried home throwing open the door and slipping in.
Brent continued to walk, not caring about the thunder or rain. He walked until he was in the park. He sat down at a park bench, every inch of him soaked.
Alexis walked into the bathroom, stripping from her clothes and stepping into the warm shower.
He saw a ball being thrown in his direction. It landed at his feet, and he picked it up. A little girl slowly approached him. She looked really nervous. They both stared at each other for awhile. Then, Brent slowly handed the girl the ball. She took it and said, "Thank you Mister..." Brent smiled slightly and replied, "No problem..."
Alexis stepped out wrapping a towel around herself. She walked into her room and slipped into some casual wear. The rain had stopped and a pretty rainbow appeared. She walked out of the house and headed towards the park.
Brent made sure no one was looking and he transformed into a wolf (( http://www.forkparty.com/wp-content/u... )). This seemed to be the only advantage of being a demon. He could transform into any animal he wanted. He laid down underneath the bench and rested his head on his paws.
Alexis walked to a small wooden bench and sat down, the wind blowing her hair slightly. She smiled kindly at the passing kids who waved to her and played on. She looked up and saw a few other people around including a rather large dog. She peered closer and realized it was a wolf, she didnt know why, but a bad vibe was coming of of it. She frowned a little but shrugged it of turning her attention to a small book in her hand.
Brent was still looking around. His eyes stopped when he spotted Alexis. He continued to stare at her. I should apologize later...
Alexis glanced up and saw the wolf glancing in her direction. She looked back down realizing who it was. She knew what she did was right, but she couldn't help but feel a little guilty.
Brent got up from under the bench and slowly approached Alexis. He didn't show any signs of threat, he just looked up at her.
Alexis tensed up when he approached her. She looked down at him, half expecting him to lunge at her and finish her off. She glanced at his face.
" I'm sorry, about what I did, but I had to." She whispered softly, almost apologetically.

Brent tilted his head slightly like a cute small dog would do. He stepped a little closer and nudged her hand with his head.
Alexis smiles a little, when he nudges her. She carefully reaches down and strokes his soft fur, just behind his shoulders. She does it cautiously first, waiting to see his reaction.
Brent didn't lunge at her, or try to bite her. He simply let her pet him. It was his way of telling her that he wasn't mad at her.
Alexis smiles more easily, she pets him normally. She looks down at him.
" what your name." She whispers, wondering if he could turn back to his human form, by his own will.

Brent backed away slightly and transformed back into a human. "Brent...My name is Brent,"he said quietly.
Alexis looks up at him and studies his face, taking in his handsome features. She nods and smiles a little.
" nice to meet you." She says.

He nodded a little. "Nice to meet you too,"he replied. He bit his lip and added, "I should be the one apologizing though..."
Alexis glanced up at him and made some room for him to sit on the bench too.
" it's fine, I guess it's part of your like nature." She said kind of questioning herself.

He shrugged a little and sat down next to her. "I guess so, although I have to admit, I'm starting to question my loyalty. I've been loyal to Satan almost all my life, but it doesn't get me anywhere. All it does is extend my life for another day."
Alexis bit her lip, she wasn't supposed to talk about satan and things like that, but she figured just this once. She looked up at him

He frowned slightly. "I would rather be a human than a demon...I used to be afraid to admit it, but I'm not anymore. Satan might even kill me for this, but I don't care. As if I'm going to leave Hell anyways after I die..."
Alexis stared at the ground, wanting to comfort him, but not knowing how to. She sighed, she wasn't supposed to tell this but oh well.
"If you try hard and stop killing, then your sins would be forgiven....there might be a chance you go to heaven." shee replied quietly

He shrugged. "Satan is giving me two more chances to make up for tonight. I'm not taking those chances. I would just rather have him kill me."
Alexis turned around and looked at him.
"what, why?!?! do something. why would you want to die?" she asked slightly alarmed. She had nevr met a demon like this before.

Alexis bit her lip, not knowing what to say.. She leaned back in her seat and looked at the ground.
"are you just gonna wait for him to find out and kill you?" she asked.

He bit his lip a little and nodded. "You're right..." He sighed and smiled slightly at her.
Alexis smiled back at him and stood up.
