"Ok" Elmina says taking the book and opening it. ((One sec, I'm gonna look it up. It will be a shortened version.))
"Once there was a young girl by the name of Cinderella. Her mother had died and her father had married a widow with 2 daughters. Nothing was too good for her step sisters. Shoes, dresses, fluffy pillows for their beds, but not Cinderella. Her stepmother didn't like her." Elmina read. She flipped the page.
"For Cinderella, there were no new dresses. No new shoes. No fluffy pillows for her bed. Only used things that her step sisters didn't want anymore. She had nothing comfortable, nothing pretty, only scraps. Cinderella had to do all the work. Only in the evening was she aloud to sit by the fire and rest." Elmina flipped the page again.
"Cinderella would hours alone with nobody but the cat for company. That cat said 'Meow' but it meant 'Cheer up! you have something your step sisters don't! True beauty.' It was true. Cinderella was very beautiful, even dressed in rags. But her step sisters, were ugly and clumsy even if they wore their best clothes, they were still ugly." Elmina flipped the page.
"One day, there came a letter. It was an invitation to a ball. Cinderella didn't even bother to ask if she could come becaouse she knew that her step mother would just tell her that she had to do this and that and prepare the beds for her step sister, becaosue they would return tired from the ball that she wouldn't be able to go to." Elmina flipped the page again.
"She was sitting alone, sad because she couldn't go when a ball of light appeared in front of her. 'Don't be alarm' it said. It was a fairy!" Elmina exclaimed smiling. "'I know you want to go to the ball.' It said. 'But how can you dressed in those rags? We need to fix that.' It smiled and with a wave of it's wand, her dress was beautiful. 'There.' It said. 'Now your dress is beautiful. But you must have something to get to the ball in.' The fairy exclaimed." Elmina turned the page again.
"The fairy turned a pumpkin into a coach, and 7 mice into 6 white horses. The seventh was turned into a coachman. 'Remember,' said the fairy 'you have to be home by midnight! That's when my magic wears off!' and the fairy vanished. Cinderella had a wonderful time until she the clock strike midnight. 'I really must go' She told the prince 'I'm sorry' and she left. 'Wait!' Said the prince." Elmina flipped the page.
"As Cinderella ran down the steps, one of her glass slippers fell off! She didn't try to pick it up because she knew, soon, her dress would once again be rags. 'Don't go!' Cried the prince but it was too late. He told his servants to find the girl whose foot fits the glass slipper. 'I won't be happy until that girl is found! I will marry that girl!' Yelled the prince." She flipped the page. "They went to Cinderella's house and it didn't fit her step sister's feet. They asked if they could try Cinderella. 'That girl? She wasn't at the ball. It couldn't be her!' Cinderella's step mother exclaimed. They tried anyway and it fit! The slipper fit!" Elmina turned the page.
"The fairy came back and made Cinderella's dress beautiful again and Cinderella married the prince and lived happily ever after. The end." Elmina closed the book.
