"Yeah? You moved out?" he signed, surprised.

Rise nodded. "I needed to. It makes life easier and worry free." Rise signed.
"Yeah I guess. Our parents suck," he signed back with a short laugh.
Rise nodded slowly and pressed her face into her knees. Life sucked. But then again, that was her parents fault.
"So.. um.. I've never really asked you about this," he began, speaking this time. "But how did you lose your voice?" he asked gently.
"Really?" he asked softly. "They couldn't help you?"
Rise shook her head. "No." Rise signed.
"Wish I could help you,' he sighed again.
Rise didn't know how to respond to that.
"Don't know how to," he muttered.
Rise pulled her phone out of her pocket when it buzzed. Trevor. She stood. "I need to go home." she signed.
"Already?" He sighed, getting up.
Rise nodded. She pocketed her phone and bit her lip. Before loosing her nerve, she kissed his cheek then ran of towards home.
"Wait-" he sighed but she already ran off. He smiled slightky. He was beginning to fall for her and he knew it.
Rise got home then realized she'd left her backpack at Jason's. She groaned and started to walk back towards the park.
Jason sighed and started to walk home.
Rise walked up to him. "I need my backpack. I left it at your house." she signed to him.
Jason blinked rapidly as he saw her, surprised. "Oh really? I'll walk you,"he smiled, holding his hand out to her.
Rise took his hand, letting him lead her.
Jason led her home. "You sure you left it at my hom?"
He smiled and nodded. "Okay," he led her to his house and walked up the porch. "Where did you leave it?"
He nodded and let go off her hand to open the door and then pick up her backpack when he saw it.
Rise took the back from him. She signed 'thank you' and 'good-bye' then ran back home.
"Wait-" he groaned as she ran from him and shook his head. Was she ever going to let him close?
((Uh... Skip to like school the next day?))
((Again. Always my turn.))Rise walked slowly into the school's courtyard. She sighed and went over to her friends who sat beneath a large tree.
(( :P I posted last))Jason walked up to the school, going to his locker
((Yeah. So it was my turn.))Rise sat beside them and listened to the conversation. Feeling a little hurt when they ignored her.
((Uh huh))Jason saw Rise and waved at her before going inside, smiling.
((*facepalm*))Rise raised her hand to wave back but he was gone. Rise got up and went into the school to her locker.
Jason smiled as he saw her go inside. "Hey," he said, opening his locker and getting his books. "How are you?"
"Fine." was all she signed and opened her locker. She grabbed some books, switching them out for some others.
He nodded, smiling sligthly. He bit his lip afterwards, thinking about his words. "Um.. are you doing anything tonight?"
Rise shook her head and closed her locker. Looking back up at him.
"Well um.." he cleared his throat. "Do you want to go out on... on a date with me?"
Rise bit her lip. "Sure." she signed to him.
((Can we do another one? I have an idea.))
((What's the idea?))"Really?" He beamed.
Rise nodded, smiling softly. ((Well, I have multiple now. I can message them to you.))
((Yeah sure!))He smiled at her and gave her a short hug.
He smiled and pulled away. "I'll pick you up at eight?"
Rise nodded (again). "That's fine." she signed.
He nodded. "Okay, I'll see you later," he smiled and then left for class.
