((Sure...))Rise walked out of school, chewing nervously on her lip. She looked up as Jason's friend started to yell at her. Saying mean and slightly offensive things.
Jason was packing his stuff, about to go outside. He grabbed his backpack and then walked out, frowning as he saw his friends yell at Rise.
Rise swiped at her face as tears streaked down her face, squeaking as someone grabbed her.
"Let go off her," he snapped at his friend Jamie, pushing him away as he grabbed Rise. "What the fuck are you guys doing?"
Jamie raised a brow. "What does it matter to you?" he retorted Rise stood there watching Jason. What was he doing? No one cared about the little mute girl.
"She matters to me. Leave her alone," he glared at his friend.
Jamie raised his hands in mock surrender, smirking slightly. "What ever you say." he said. Rise shook her head.
"Leave her alone," he emphasized each words, glaring at him as he steered Rise away from them.
Jamie chuckled behind them, walking away. Rise let Jason pull her away.
"Ignore those assholes," he muttered.
Rise nodded. Rise turned around and pulled her hand from her chin, saying "Thank you" in sign language.
"Should I be offended by that?" he chuckled softly, teasing her.
He smiled back lightly. "You need a ride?" he asked her.
Rise shook her head. Her home was just down the street.
"You sure?" he smiled lightly.
"Alright," he sighed. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow then? "
Rise shrugged. She was confused as to why he "saved" her.
Jason smiled at her before leaving to his car.
Rise walked home. Walking up to the house, she shook her head as she heard the screams. Rise sat on the porch steps and put her head in between her knees.
Jason left and went home. He wasn't sure if his parents were home, but when he came in and heard nothing, he sighed in relief.
Rise ran her hand through her hair, pushing it out of her face. Still fighting, great. She stood and started to wander around the neighborhood. No point in waiting for something to stop when you know it won't.
Jason sat on the couch, watching some TV. He was glad that his parents weren't home, they would only talk about how he failed at everything.

Rise sat on the curb to an alley, tossing rocks down it.
Jason decided to take a walk, having nothing to do.
Rise pulled her feet onto the sidewalk and leaned against a fence, closing her eyes.
Jason walked into Rise's street and sighed.
Rise looked up and saw Jason across the street.
Jason saw Rise and blinked rapidly, surprised. "Rise?"
"I didn't know you lived here," he walked up to her.
Rise shrugged. She didn't like this neighborhood too much.

((You replied? my god, stupid notifications. Awh! I love roleplaying with you too :D))"Hmm, why are you outside?" he asked her curiously.
((C:))She took out a notepad. Parents and the lovely conversations they have.
((:D))"Ah, same here," he mumbled, sitting next to her.
Rise put her head between her knees. She was so tired.
"It sucks, right?" he sighed softly, knowing what it felt like. His parents argued all the time.
Rise nodded, studying the weed in front of her.
"Do they argue all the time?" he asked gently.
Rise let out a bitter laugh and nodded.
"Hey, it's okay, I mean, it's not obviously, but I'm trying to console you," he chuckled huskily, shaking his head and smiling lightly at her.
Rise forced a small smile. Life didn't seem to be fair for either for them.
He smiled back lightly. "You wanna go and do something?"
Rise nodded. She had nothing better to do.
