One word of warning: as the Tv show and the book series progressed, they have become VERY different things. At this point, the only thing they have in common is some of the characters.

I am liking it so far however the long chapters are putting me off. Sookie, Bill and Sam are all great characters though :) what about you?

Long chapters are really annoying but my favourite characters is Bill and sookie In some place this is different then the TV series and that's what I am finding very interesting :)

12% - (view spoiler)[There is something about the writing style in this that's a little off-putting and its kind of annoying that the first chapter went for 12% of the book! I like the idea of vampire draining and the use of their blood as a drug but I am not really that fond of Sookie so far. (hide spoiler)]
