I like starting a book in the middle of things, but I agree that there already are annoying things like characters that super stereotypical and annoying.

I first started this one a long time ago but didn't get that far into it. Rereading the first chapter I realized that I missed so many things the first time! Honestly, I didn't even remember that two girls had died... I'm excited to do how things go this time. (hide spoiler)]

It's all starting to ruin the book for me. Also, this happened earlier but what kind of teenager uses 411? Even if this was written in 2010, practically no one in high school would've used that anymore. K. Rant over.
Edit: Rant not over. If Noah is being told to back off, he should.
If Mara really doesn't want to be him (though she obviously does cause hormones) she should not be saying mixed things/ And Hodkin really shouldn't be using this (that could potentially be "symptoms" of an abusive relationship) to increase the sexual tension between two teenagers. I understand this was written 7 years ago and a lot has changed since then, but it still makes me uuugh. K. Now it's over. (hide spoiler)]
