Who did he choose help!!

So at the end of Last Sacrifice When Tasha shoots, was Dimitri going for Rose or Lissa!? I say Rose of course, he said so through out the whole series always Rose thats why they both couldn't be Lissa's Guardian, and in the Ultimate Guide it says he automatically chose Rose over Lissa... but I want to be positive he chose Rose before I rejoice so HELP!!!

yes, I think he was going for rose. However the book itself said that he himself didnt know. But I think he told this to Rose so she would not feel as if they being happy and together would affect Lissa's safety ( which is Rose #1 priority) as she (Rose) has been known to give up her happiness for another's.

I think he honestly didn't know at the time. He always claimed he couldn't stay objective. So I guess his mind did jump Lissa, while his heart jumped for Rose. And as it always usually, heart trumps mind. So yeah, I think he jumped for Rose. Epic love will do that.
Still with that being out there, I wonder if that would happen again, while they are on duty and Christian (who is now his charge) and Lissa and Rose would face danger... who he would go for then..?

When Rose jumped in front of Lissa, she mentioned that she saw someone jumped in front of her but it was too late. She got hit and fell. That third person might be Dimka.
