I never did read Fault in Our Stars. Do you watch the movie? Is the movie true to the novel?

Yeah, I watched the movie. I really enjoyed it, and thought they did a fairly good job on it. I mean of course they aren't going to do a perfect job on the movie, but I thought all in all it was pretty good! It was definitely condensed but they didn't cut out and really main parts. And they us direct quotes from the book.

Mike Robbins (mikerobbins) | 14 comments I read The Lord of the Rings three times when I was younger; I loved it, but oddly enough I've never seen the film. I should probably read at least one Harry Potter, I think I'd enjoy it.

Possibly my favourite novel in English is Bright Day by J.B. Priestley and I've read that four times in the last 20 years I think. Also the two earliest books by Heinrich Böll.

Amber (booklover30) Wind in the Willows. My Favorite classic. Also Dracula.

Amber (thespacejamber) Harry Potter should absolutely go without saying; it was the series that started my love of reading! I've also read Are You My Mother? twice: once for my women's lit class in college and again a few weeks ago. Both times were great, but emotionally taxing, fun.
