Frozen in Time is Zuckoff's latest title. Perfect for fans of Lost in Shangri-La and rated a Best Book of the Month by Amazon. This is a story of courage, perseverance and loyalty. Which part of the book struck you as most moving?

The tenacity of the men who were lost to the rest of the world for months just blew me away. Even as they suffered from the extreme cold, inadequate protection from the elements and lack of provisions, most of the time they refused to give up. Would I have behaved in the same way? Hard to say.

What struck me the most that through all the danger that men were willing to put their lives on the line time after time to try to rescue these men and the continued effort to keep them alive until they were able to be rescued. It shows just how deep the bond is between those who serve.

I read this book and I was amazed with the courage of the men who wanted to bring back their men alive. It truly is a bond that service men share-motto leave anyone behind. They tried over and over again to rescue the men in frigid conditions. It is a great book to read.

I enjoyed this book also. I've read quite a bit about WWII and I didn't realize how strategic Greenland was. The crew's will to live is truly remarkable. It's hard to imagine the suffering the men went through while they waited the entire winter for rescue.
I'd also really like to know about any future recovery of the planes they located in the 2012 expedition.

My best friend is reading the book and relates it to me daily. Yes. It is a fascinating story, I am puzzled at this point about what is the status of the latest expedition? Is it now simply on hold till summer 2014 or did they give up completely? Does anyone have any current info as of January 30, 2014?
