Heidi, your shebangs arrived safe and sound last week. Sorry for not posting anything about that earlier, but I've had a hectic past few days.Now, as for listening to the very tempting shebangs that I have here in neat little bundles, I want to assure you all that I have been very, very patiently waiting until all the shebangs are ready to go out to all of you before listening to them myself--wouldn't be fair.
(And btw, the guy wearing the headphones in the photo above looks like he's straining for a long overdue bowel movement. This chap, below right, knows how to cackle maniacally in proper cartoon villain style.)

I'm making family shebangs for xmas this year - well they may be new years shebangs for the Dutchies. I'm considering cheating and reusing these playlists for the next TC shebang...

I don't even remember what my theme was anymore.
Misha has been busy (I think) moving into new a living arrangement, so she's probably dealing with a lot right now. She'll get around to the shebang soon enough I'm sure, maybe even in time for the New Year. (And I see that it's the 7th of December today, so...iedereen een prettig sinterklaas toegewenst.)
No worries, Misha. You've got a lot on your plate at the moment, and we've all been there at one time or another, so don't be hard on yourself with regard to the shebangs. Anyway, good things come to those who wait. Best of luck with your new place!

Misha I wouldn't worry too much. The first shebang I was involved in took over 12 months to complete. It was worth the wait.

Ok, it seems I have gone xmas shebang mad!It's a budget xmas, so I thought "I'll just do shebangs for everyone". You think I would have learnt by now that shebangs are very time consuming enterprises.
So I'm trying for at least five separate individual shebang themes before xmas, that includes some of them being posted to the Netherlands and a ship in the navy. I have already warned postees that their gifts will be in the new year, but still! That's a lot of music sorting, cover art and what not really really soon....
Self-created pressure much :(

So... when's the next shebang? I finished my playlist for my main xmas gift (the one for the adults) and I am so planning on cheating and using it next round. I will confess now to having shamelessly pilfered songs from other people's previous shebangs, but I figure you like them, right?
Anywho, it has a summery theme, it makes me want to lie in the sun and drink beer. Maybe the next shebang round will be in time for everyone else's summer, so it will make more sense :)

I am currently swigging on a corona, I can hear the waves crashing on the shore. The sun isn't out since it's 11:15pm. Tomorrow I'll be sunning myself at the beach. ( after all the Christmas who-ha has finished that is. :)
