Well...how about oh! Do you know the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas? Or we could do something with Jack Frost and another mystical person.

How about then, there is a school of supernatural, highschool or college, with dorms, aand...yeah. I ran out of ideas...

Sean walked in to his room with a large smile. "Ah! My roommate is here! What a great surprise!" He chuckled and set his bags down on his bed, taking out a few things. He looked over. "Oh no...don't tell me you're doing...homework...." he said and shivered dramatically. As usual, he hasn't done his homework, and wouldn't until end get someone to do it for him or go online and search it up.
He laughs and threw some books on the floor next to his dresser and flopped onto the bed.
There wasn't very man people who had the same power as Jace. Controlling the shadows was a rare but hard job, and she had always been perfect bat it. Shadows matched her, matcher her personality, her history, everything. She loved shadows because they seemed to comfort her and she could hide in their quiet and dark atmosphere. Not too long of course. Anyone who used their power for too long would be drained and exhausted.
Anyways, her class had what most classes did. The jock, he nerd, the annoying girl that gawked over the jock...oh, and that teacher that always called on that one person. She hated it, which was why she sat in the very back of the class, as usual.

As the bell rang, Jace walked out and her eyes widened at how many people there were. She was about to run back to the class, but the door was shut. "Oh jeez..." she mumbled and went through a shadow and walked out as she was closer to her dorm. She rushed in and shut the door quickly, then saw her roommate and looked down, quickly grabbing her other books and notebooks and pens to take to her next class.

Sean laughed as Derek left. He loved being threatened. Something about he threat gave him excitement and happiness....and adventure? Who knew really. He jus liked it. He wondered what Jace wood do if she met someone like him. Then he already knew. 'Hide.' He hough and rolled is eyes. Sometimes Sean and Jace have that stnge though connection, like twins would. They always figures it was because they used to always be near each other when they were little. Especially Jace where she would always hde behind Sean when meeting people or going out in public

Jace nidded. Not too many questions was good, since when always hated it when people constantly asked her stuff. Stuff like, hey why do hide? Orwhered you come from? It annoyed her so much. She sighed when someone knocked on the door to the dorm. She didn't get why people could just talk outside of their dorms. Then she figured that was why she had no friends, because she was so picky and so shy.
Sean hopped out of bed and walked out, playing with a fireball. No he handy touched anything of Derek's but he was tempted to. He saw some of his friends, Jack, Phil, the twins Jake and Charlie. They were all cool to him, even had the same personality as him. OK, well the twins were a bit more crazy with the fire. All he knew was he found it strange when they all said they had fire abilities like him.

Sean chuckled and looked across the hall to see Derek and...was that his friend? He laughed. He figured the guy was a loner. His friends looked at who he was staring at, and not getting why he was laughing, they looked at him. "What's so funny?" One of the twins asked.
"Nothing you would understand. Sometimes...I just don't understand people..." he said with a small laugh.

Sean frowned and glared at Derek. His friends were snickering at his rage, knowing what would come. Anyone who messed with him...well they always got their consequence in full blast. He formed a fire ball, not the hot coloured ones like the green or blue flamed. Then he threw the ball at him, just barely hitting him and...had he singed some of his hair. Oh now he knew he had picked a fight.

Jace smiled slightly and nodded, following out the door. At first she didn't notice the large crowd that had gathered around the two people, and didn't even realize that there as fire and ice being shot everywhere. She only noticed when some kind of ice nearly hit her. She turned and knew exactly who was part of the fight....her brother. She sighed and pushed through the crowd. "Sean!" She yelled at him.

"Jace, just leave me alone. Last thing I need is for YOU, of all people, to tell me what to do. So what? I get into a small fight. I would've won against this...weirdo. So whybdont you move and let me-"
Jace cut him off with the glare she had and the amount of shadows that surrounded her. Sometimes, she could engulf a whole shark through the shadows if she wanted to, but all who enter and could not weild her abilities seemed to get lost. Most knew to back off...most. Except for those few who didn't and they were probably still lost in the shadows. Maybe...

Sean sighed. He hadn't really expected that to get so out of hand. He actually expected to win the fight, laugh in Derek's face, then brag like he always did until he would get in trouble by Jace when she would find out through the rumors. He figured the shadow told her the rumors, not seeing how she would know anything since she doesn't talk to many people.

Sean sighed. "But, I didn't even start it. He coukdve killed me with the amount of ice he threw at me and with the force he had tried to hit me with that bat." He sat, hoping to get out of that detention he had to serve. He always hated detention. He hated the principle. The principle knew him, he got into detention a lot, so...most likely he wasn't going to get off the hook.

Sean groaned and left the office, walking away. He saw Derek, but didn't even glare at him. He was upset as well, with himself that he had upset Jace, after promising his parents he would protect her, help her, be there for her. He tried looking for her, but cokdnt find her, and that always worried him because he knew what she was doing.

Sean hadn't found her anywhere. He ran to her dorm. "Hey! Jace? Is Jace in here?" He knocked on the door quickly, practically bouncing in his shoes of concern and worries. He was hoping she was in there, but he had a feeling she wasn't. "Helllooo?" He called out, wanting to open the door.

"Jace...are you upset with me?" He asked slowly. He knee she was, but that was how he always started it off, to see how upset she really was.
"What do you thik? I'm standing here, hating how you can't keep your word. Why?" She asked with anger in her eyes.
"I...I don't know..." was all he could say at that time and moment.

"Jace, I'm not perfect, I'll screw up. But I'll make it right, don't I always?" He asked, sitting by her with a saddened expression.
"No. You don't. I always fix the problem, I always make it right. And screwing up doesn't mean you can make the same decisions over Andover with out a care in the world. Just be the higher man." She said

Sean was walking around, and again, trying to find Jace. Despite the many times he had said sorry, he knew she was still pissed off at him. He figured an apple would do, seeing as that was her favorite thing to eat...and really the only thing she would eat unless he made her eat something else. He hadn't found her in her room, and the halls, despite them being nearly empty, showed no sign of her. He did find, however, her roommate. 'Alex? Is that right....?' He thought and ran up to her. "Hey...uh, so I was looking for my sister, and I was wondering if you've seen her yet?" He asked

Sean saw her and followed her. He decided he would say sorry for upsetting her and that he had tried to do so with Jace....but that was obvioly not working out. He saw her a the bench, gave her a moment to settle before sitting next to her. "So....what's up_" he asked
(I need Jace to be doing something)
Jace, wandering the halls still Jace figured Sean had suffered enough of her anger. She walked to is dorm, knocking lightly on the door but not speaking, something she always did when she was little.

Jace looked down when she saw Derek. "Uh...I was wondering if Sean was in there." She mumbled. She wasn't good when it came to speaking to others directly, which was why she always looked down.

Jace sighed, and as she was about to leave something just kept tugging at her. She took in a breath and was.led into the dorm. "OK, I have to know one thing. Sean said you started it...the whole fight...and I just need to know why." She said, surprised verse,f ow she could talk like that one second, but she was sure to lose that the next.

Jace was all calm for a moment. Too calm. Then as it sunk it, her eyes slowly turned black and the room began to darken. "I was asking a question. I never accused you of actually starting anything but I wanted to know! Is it so bad to ask for some kind of truth? I have two sides to a story and damn it I just want to know who's right! So don't you dare raise your voice at me or even insult me because you will be asking for something that honestly, it will kill you but slowly." She said, smirking slightly. She, of course, wasn't thinking straight. She had just threatened someone and not sure she even realized it

Jace frowned. "Of the two of us I am the oldest. I may not be in age but I can act like it. By the way, your little fit right there just told me that you did start it. I guess you can't control your temper can you? How sad. And a dissapoinment." She rolled her eyes. "We will end this conversation, now, knowing that I am right." She said, looking at him but not in any rude way. In fact she wasn't showing any of her emotions.

Jace rolled her eyes and was about to leave when she had made one small mistake of losing her concentration of a shadow, that then leapt across the room and to Derek. She didn't now if would hit him or not but her eyes widened slightly.

Jace smiled slightly. "Oh....maybe that's why he fights you. You have like this weird face you make when you're mad." She shrugged, trying to hide her smile. In fact she was wondering what she was doing. "Oh no....I'm becoming my brother...." he groaned, covering her face.

Jace rolled her eyes. "Yeah and you were dead the moment you let me in. Oh by the way, good luck with whatever problem you and your side are having..." she said and walked off down to her dorm

"That's what the scared says. In the end, darkness covers everything, even ice." She mumbled, not caring if he heard or not but she was about to lose herself, she could feel it. If she had to deal with one more fight, she would truly go insane and just might shove everyone into a world of darkness. That was what she feared, it was her nightmare, and she was hoping it wouldn't come true.

"Jeez I was nervous. I couldn't find you, checking your dorm...and even outside after a while." She said and sighed, not bothering to mention what happened in the dorm.

Sean smioed slightly. "Its fine, there's no need to say sorry. You didn't have any control, plus now we have some answers, and a lot of questions for someone to answer. And we will find that someone. So let's go get packed, alright?" He said and smiled at her again, hugging her lightly, to not hurt her back.
