Princess Gabriel The Bookish Bookaholic of the Western Timbers of Librarianland (aka Gabriel the Bookaholic) | 204 comments My mom just said that I am able to dye my hair. I may be the happiest person alive!

message 3459: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
AWESOME!!!!!! (☆^ー^☆)

What color you want to dye it?

Princess Gabriel The Bookish Bookaholic of the Western Timbers of Librarianland (aka Gabriel the Bookaholic) | 204 comments Oh, um, reverse ombre hair. My hair is pretty boring, and my mother wouldn't let me do what I WANT to do to it anyway.

message 3461: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
Oo! I like ombres! They can be so fun and different

message 3463: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
OO! I like it! You must post a pic once it is done! ;D

Princess Gabriel The Bookish Bookaholic of the Western Timbers of Librarianland (aka Gabriel the Bookaholic) | 204 comments My mom would kill me if I tried. I wish I could though! Ugh! I am so happy!
In the future, Imma dye my hair constantly. I may dye it a different color once every three months.

message 3465: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
Then you must tell us if you like it!

Would you dye it natural or unnatural colors? I personally love unnatural colors because you don't see a lot of people with them.

Princess Gabriel The Bookish Bookaholic of the Western Timbers of Librarianland (aka Gabriel the Bookaholic) | 204 comments Unnatural colors. But I think people with darker hair really luck out on hair dying. I cannot dye my hair purple and look fabulous!

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
I totally understand the mom says no pictures. The only reason I can post some of me is because I am sixteen and mom trusts me enough.

Princess Gabriel The Bookish Bookaholic of the Western Timbers of Librarianland (aka Gabriel the Bookaholic) | 204 comments Wow, lucky. My mom is always talking about the creeps on the internet. I'm just like: It is a site for people who love to read and the only people I would ever talk to are people who are basically the same person! And I can easily block people and change my privacy settings.

message 3469: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
What makes you think so?

Since my natural in a dark brunette I personally think it is easier for a lighter hair color cause you don't have to bleach excessively and when your roots grow in it doesn't look weird.

message 3470: by [deleted user] (new)

That's why I use Loki for my avatar. I can't post myself online.

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
That is what I told my mom too. I even showed her my setting and made sure they were up to her standards. But it was nearly a war to convince her to finally let me. And I still have to be careful which ones I post.

Princess Gabriel The Bookish Bookaholic of the Western Timbers of Librarianland (aka Gabriel the Bookaholic) | 204 comments Okay, with my hair color it looks weird. My hair is dirty blonde, and I wanna dye hot pink hair, purple hair, and electric blue and it looks all kinds of bad.

message 3473: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
Hmm..... you already dyed it that way?

message 3475: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
Hmmm......pity.. :( It sounds like it would be a super cute combo. Could have been the dye you used...... Not trying to sound like a know it all or anything or to say you are wrong......just pondering...

Princess Gabriel The Bookish Bookaholic of the Western Timbers of Librarianland (aka Gabriel the Bookaholic) | 204 comments Maybe... IDK, certainly not a cosmetologist. My friends mom is though and she's gonna do my hair for free!

message 3477: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
Nice! My mom has a friend like that too! And my mom took a cosmetology course in high school so she too in knowledgeable in that category. And mom is normally the one who cuts my hair and dyes it.

Princess Gabriel The Bookish Bookaholic of the Western Timbers of Librarianland (aka Gabriel the Bookaholic) | 204 comments I would let my mom dye my hair, but not cut it... Bad experiences.. My bangs were so uneven...

message 3479: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
Lol! XD My dad is definitely someone I will never allow with scissors near my hair. My nine year old sister has a better chance of cutting my hair then my dad

Princess Gabriel The Bookish Bookaholic of the Western Timbers of Librarianland (aka Gabriel the Bookaholic) | 204 comments Haha. When I was three or four. My sister woke me up and started cutting her hair and convinced me to cut mine. That was fun. Did you ever cut your hair when you were younger?

message 3481: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
Yes! All the time which led to many of my baby photos or family photos with me having really short hair. I still keep it short till this day. I have never had it longer than my shoulders.

Princess Gabriel The Bookish Bookaholic of the Western Timbers of Librarianland (aka Gabriel the Bookaholic) | 204 comments Wow. I prefer to have my hair longer. I chopped it all off this summer... So sad

message 3483: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
What's the longest you have had it?

message 3485: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
A Mohawk style would be the shortest and for longest would be my shoulders.

Princess Gabriel The Bookish Bookaholic of the Western Timbers of Librarianland (aka Gabriel the Bookaholic) | 204 comments A Mohawk? Gods, that is short. For a while, I debated on a pixie cut... But I love my long hair.

message 3487: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
Yeah it was really short but I did it because my hair was really damaged from dying it so much so I cut it all off and have been going it out since. I can't stand long hair! My sister has her hair down to her butt and idk how she functions with it.

message 3488: by [deleted user] (new)

My hair is almost to my rear.

message 3489: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
Yeah I just couldn't function with my hair that long.

message 3490: by [deleted user] (new)

stille talking about hair? hahha anyone read Shakespeare? had to read 12th night for today but just couldn't get into it :o love his kind of humour though. btw do you guys know the movie she's the man? I think it's based on that play of Shakespeare!

message 3491: by SmilingDork (new)

SmilingDork | 2519 comments Mod
Yes it is! I love the 12th night!!!! It is my favorite play of Shakespeare!! I have read three of his plays and I do so love him. He is a true classic in my opinion.
