Okay so I went through my mom's one recipe book she brought with us,(Because of the move) and I couldn't find a recipe for pumpkin pie. :( Sorry. But I went onto pinterest found a pumpkin pie recipe similar to ours and has a lot of good reviews. So....I've never had this, and I'm not a big pumpkin fan but I hope this helps.
(Ingredients
1 (15 ounce) can pureed pumpkin
1 (14 ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 large eggs, slightly whisked
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (rounded)
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon salt
1 (9 inch) pie crust (bonus points for homemade
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°
In a small saucepan, heat pumpkin, spices and salt over low heat. The pour into another bowl to cool to room temperature. [This step is optional, but I think it makes the canned pumpkin taste closer to fresh pureed pumpkin.]
Whisk all ingredients except piecrust together in a medium bowl until combined. Make sure there are no streaks of egg white because those will show up in the final product!
Pour into crust and bake at 425° for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350° and continue baking 35 to 40 minutes or until a sharp knife inserted 1 inch from the center comes out clean. If you don’t want to poke your pie, which will cause it to crack as it cools, you can jiggle it. It is done when only the center (1 inch diameter) jiggles. The pumpkin pie will set perfectly if allowed to cool completely prior to cutting.
Refrigerate in a sealed container or covered with foil. It will also keep for several days at room temperature if you prefer.)

Lol! I can't wait for Thanksgiving! In our family we get each other gifts. And Black Friday is at the same time. So...Yeah.

Must be.... either Jewish, Muslim, or Jehovah's Witness? I'm guessing .... Jewish?
I'm also Jewish like Ravanna.
Well, I'm not a Jew I'm Messianic. Which is very close to a Jew, but where as Jews don't believe Christ has come to the earth yet, or died for our sins. Messianic do. I believe Jesus has come and died for our sins. And I believe in the second coming. That's the difference between Jews and Messianic.

Whoa!!! Chatty chatty I see!!!!
Okay let's see if I can some up up the whole thirty seven comments you guys did. Here it goes....
Yes I celebrate Halloween!! I ABSOLUTELY love it and it is one of my favorite times!!!! I can REALLY let my inner self out and I always feel more me in October. Yes I am Christian but we simply see Halloween as a fun time nothing else. Plus I don't believe half the stuff said about it. (Sorry if that offends anyone)
Next.... yes I ALWAYS help make pumpkin pie with my dad. Funny you made me crave pumpkin pie and I have a new idea for a cupcake. Pumpkin pie cupcake with cream cheese frosting. Last year dad even made the mashed pumpkin from scratch!!! BEST pumpkin pie EVER!!!! I love mine with whip cream!!!!Hhhhmmmmm!!!!
Next! As you all know I LOVE to bake and cook so if anything need some help I van help. I LOVE the decorating part of baking!!! I can totally let my mind take over!!! ;P
There I think I got everything!!!
Also back to the Halloween thing. That is why I was gone all day was I stayed late at school then I got my costume and my friend and I started trading insults to each other which got pretty funny. He is hilarious!! xD I was gonna try and be the Red Queen but I got my costume too late so there was none there. Then I had a forty minute debate on what costume to get Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas or a sugar skull! I choose the sugar skull but I kinda wish I got Sally.....OH well!! *Shrug* My sister got hers from the teen section and I was kinda mad cause one she is nine years old she still fits in the kids stuff and two she got the adorable dress I was thinking of getting!!! But dad said he wanted her to have room to layer her clothing cause Halloween is cold as all get out here!!! UNFAIR!!! So I decided I am stealing that dress next year just for the heck of it! It fit me and was still loose!!! My sister isn't heavy set but come on dad!?!? That big!!
So I am gonna be this cute sugar skull and probably freeze to death cause the costume has no sleeves! Yea!!!

Oh nice (: Yes!!!!! I'm gonna squash the pumpkin from scratch... Well that probably didn't make no sense xP
Hehehe!! Great idea girl!!! *handclaps* xP
Well Mk...You will have to remind me to answer those questions later, because I'm gonna head to bed right now. But when I do answer them I'll probably just PM you. Is that fine?
Anyway, Goodnight Super-dorks-nerd-in-arms! :)

One more Q everyone: how to cheerup ourselves? Or just make ourselves happy even though we feel otherwise?
Sorry for late reply and g2g again! But do reply!
Night!(for me)
Hey! And to answer your question G, a great way that helps me cheer up, is stretching, or putting on loud music and just dancing around the house, with these crazy dance moves. Or taking a long shower, putting on my comfy sweats, and watching a comedy, with what ever junk food I can scavenger for.

Hope you all are just amazing!!! xD
Well, Ravanna had some terrific ideas to cheer up (; I'm, a bit different in that I am a over thinker so if I'm feeling down I usually sit down and realize why then pray about what is worrying me so. Otherwise listening to music, eating some snacks or hanging out with family and laughing are GREAT ideas (((;

Happy Sweet Sixteen Gia from all of us on The Party Journal! We hope your day is just as sparkly as this photo!!!!!!!!!! :)

No...I think it doesn't really matter how old you are, but I don't celebrate Halloween. To answer your question though I think, maybe, KitKat is. Or she is going to some Halloween carnival or something like that. (KitKat is Smiley's nick name from me, in case you are wondering.)

I've seen that one! It was really good.
Last night for our Friday-Family-movie-night, we were going to watch Inside Out (I think that's what's it called) but it wasn't down loading and kept skipping so now we are going to watch it tonight. Anyone seen that one?
