So, yesterday I went Trap Shooting. I didn't do that great. Like, at all. lol XD But in my defense they gave me the biggest shot gun there. and my small arms had a hard time getting around it. Plus it was SOOOO cold out side. I wore both my huge sweater and my brothers huge jacket, just to keep warm. lol I looked like an umpa lump holding that gun. XD
But it was still tons of fun. My mom wants to get a member ship at the place so we can go back any time, but we've gotta get a shot gun first.
Also, because my gun was huge (even when the kick wasn't too bad) the fact that it DIDN'T fit well, caused it to jump just a tad bit. And when you're firing it 50 times you are bound to get bruised. Which I did. I got a nice bruise on my shoulder and along my right cheek bone; where I had to rest my head to look through the sights. But still even though I did ABSOLUTELY dreadful yesterday when it cam to actually hitting the clay pigeons, I was told that I had an excellent stance and that when I did hit the pigeons I hit them right in the middle. So at the very least, I know that I can always get better!!!!
Which is exactly what I'm determined to do!!!!
Just next time, I'm getting a shot gun that fits better. ;)

My track. meet I just came back from. It is where several schools from all over the state come to compete. You don't have to go to them but the coach takes his top athletes on the team. Coach took what was left of the team that wasn't out of town for break.

okay, so, I woke up this morning at 5 am to my cat throwing something across the room and jumping after it, pawing it, stuff like that. she made so much noise!! I swear, she's so loud >.< she swiped it under the bed and kept playing with it. I assumed it was the squeaky toy mouse we got for her, so I just lied down again. at around 6/6:30, I looked to the corner of my bed, and saw her pawing this thing, obviously it was dark, so I reached down and picked it up. it felt like she ripped up the toy, it was making these broken squeaks, but I just dropped it and let her play with it again. I would deal with it in the morning. I went back to sleep, and woke up again at 11:30 ish (I slept at 3 am yesterday) and she jumped up beside me and we snuggled for a while, then I went to open the curtains and so on. I left to brush, and I was telling my brother and sister what happened last night and how she broke the mouse toy, and I went to show them and picked it up, and I held it for a while, until I realized that it didn't quite look like the toy mouse. well, it finally sunk in, and I quickly dropped it and ran screaming from the room, along with my siblings. *shudder* i'm scarred for life.

it was a baby too!! she killed a baby mouse for me!!!

yeah, but also totally creepy. it wasn't even fully dead! she left it suffering for 5 hours.

but I still love her so much <3 she (half) killed it for me.

yeah...this was a deer mouse, and we looked it up, and their feces can carry hantavirus, a disease that has a 40% chance of being fatal.
