The same way adding few hundred books to your shelves will get you into a top reviewer list even if you did not actually review a single book.

No, sorry, if you are a librarian under your profile picture will say Goodreads librarian (see my profile page or someone else around here).
Also, I believe, they will let you know if you become one.

I don't like that I don't even get one response from GR when I submit the reasons why I think I should become a Gr librarian. It makes me feel like they're ignoring me. Even though that's not true (well, I hope it's not hehe), they could at least tell me, no, I did not become a librarian.

I know what you mean, but they do tell you that beforehand:
"Please note that no notification is sent if an applicant is not accepted to the program." (https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/1...)

Oh. I guess I didn't see that. Strange, because I've sent the application three different times.
