"I saw this shadow in the room and after that I started hearing all these voices. It felt different I couldn't control myself. One of the voices broke free and was messing with me. I went after my sister because I thought she had Dean. I thought she was the voice. Once I touched her the voice took over me."

Carter was silent. He didn't answer that question.

Naomi looked at him. "Dad can you please me tell me. I could use all the help."

"Telling you won't help. At all." He replied.

"Please." She whispered. "I know something happened. I can handle the truth."

"It's not important and I'm not gonna tell you." Carter answered, standing up.

He was going to leave her she just knew it. "It is important because it can help me. It can show me how to cope with that situation."

"Naomi, I'm not gonna spill my life story to you for no reason. Telling you won't help you cope." Carter answered.

Naomi nodded her head holding in her tears. "You can go now." She whispered. "I mean the fact that your my dad and I know nothing about you should be a good reason." She muttered.

"I'm not gonna tell you what happened with my powers. It's not a good story." Carter said softly. "And I'm not gonna leave. Because as soon as I do, you'll give in to the darkness and become the creature your boyfriend and sister will have to hunt."

"How do you know? Do you honestly think I'm not strong enough to fight it?" Naomi said. "I can fight the darkness." She said. Deep down she wasn't sure if she could or not.

"I know what you've done before when you've been upset. I know what you've thought about doing.." He sighed

Naomi looked at the lake. "I'm not upset." She whispered softly lying. She was doing what she did to everyone push them away.

"You can lie to your sister about whatever and she will believe you. I won't." Carter replied. "You're upset. It's really quite obvious.."

Naomi sighed. "I'm tired,confused, and broken. Happy I said I was broken and upset. I can't move on from the past and I'm telling feeling like I'm breaking. So yeah you're probably right I would give into the darkness"

Carter nodded. "Why aren't you with Dean then?"

"Because I got kicked out because my attitude is supposedly childish. Dean didn't want to come with me." Naomi said.

"He probably wanted to. But he's with his brother too, right? Don't they hunt together?" Carter asked softly.

"Dean didn't want to come because we got into a fight and he's upset at me just like the rest of them." Naomi whispered.

"Ever thought about going and apologizing?" Carter suggested.

"I just said I'm not allowed back. And I'm not the one who made the mistake." Naomi sighed. "I know you're trying to help and I'm grateful, but you can't help me because I'm too broken." She making excuses and she hoped he bought into. She was afraid to move on and she didn't know why.

"Naomi. Stop that." Carter bit his lip. "You're acting like you're so broken and messed up. You're really not that broken. And you need to start fixing yourself. Someone's not gonna come and do it for you. This is life, it's not some fairy tale."

Naomi looked at her dad she didn't say anything. He was right. "How do I start fixing it?" She whispered. "Do I go say sorry? Look how far that got me. Want me to forget everything I can't. How am I suppose to fix anything when I expect the worse out of everyone?" She snapped. "I can't forget it. If you can't forget how are you suppose to move on?" Strangely getting angry and letting it all out made everything feel a little bit better.

"Try not to expect the worse for one." Carter replied. "I never said to forget. I said to move on. You still will have those memories but you need to put them away. Put them back in the past.."

Naomi had tears coming down her face. "Dad I'm sorry for snapping at you." She whispered with a sniffle. "I do feel better though getting it off my chest."

"It's alright.." Carter said gently.

"I wasn't just gonna leave you here alone.."

Naomi nodded and yawned. "I can't go back until the morning."

"Okay." Carter nodded. He looked around.

"Too bad we can't magically poof stuff here we could have a father and daughter campout." Naomi said. "Are you going to have to leave because its easier for them to find us?"

"I don't want to but I probably should to keep both of us a little safer." He sighed.

Naomi nodded. "I understand." She whispered. "I will see you again soon?"

"Hopefully." He nodded. "Do you want me to try and talk to Wyatt?"

Naomi smiled. "No it's fine. I appreciate you're offer." She got up and hugged him.

"You sure? It's not like she'd know it was me.." Carter hugged her.

"She's on her computer a lot. It's really not that hard to make a message appear..I can try that.." Carter shrugged.

"With your mind? Or like logging in as someone." Naomi asked. "Because if it is with your mind then that would be awesome."

"Logging in is easier. Mind stuff is really difficult..." He shrugged.

Naomi smiled a little. "Well challenge is my middle name. Actually its Carter, but beside the point. I'm going to learn how to do it because I have feeling I will need it."

"I'll teach you. Eventually." He smiled lightly at her.

Naomi smiled softly him. "I enjoy our talks so far even though they're aren't in the best situations."

"Me too." Carter nodded. "Stay safe. Okay? And go back and apologize...."

Naomi manage to cut her jeans into shorts. She went to a second hand store and got a tank top. She going to go say sorry hoping Dean was working on his car.

Sam woke up and rolled into the kitchen. Looking at the cupboard where the cereal was in frustration.

Dean was still asleep, exhausted.

Wyatt had been awake for a few hours. She had gotten some sleep and then worked on some homework. She heard someone moving around in the house so she quietly walked out of her room.
