Hmm well it dependsWhat do you like to do?
Tbh I haven't started a new role play in awhile. I'm currently in the mood for fantasy and i do doubles most of the time.
What kind of fantasy?I like doing doubles too :)
Any kind of fantasy I have one idea that I never really roleplayed. Just in a good fantasy mood lol
Girl A lives in a kingdom that is having an on going wars for her whole life. The most recent of such is the Dragons. The dragons by far are the most terrifying creatures in this kingdom. Guy A is a dragon. Of course are dragons can transform into humans. Girl A is out to prove that girls can do anything guys can do. She has her mind on killing a dragon. During this hunt things don't go as plan at all. In the end Guy A rescues Girl A. Guy A senses something about Girl A, but can't put his finger to it. Guy B is Girl A's twin brother. He is always in trouble. He hates following rules. He is also is very protective over his sister. Well Guy B is dating a Girl B who happens to be a Rebel who lures Guy B into this. Guy B doesn't mind because he knows his parents are wrong and corrupt about everything.
Basically this whole group of people go on a journey together eventually to bring peace to all the kingdoms. Along the way Girl A and Guy A fall for each other but it takes time. Guy B doesn't like Guy A. Guy A would do anything to get Girl A. Even if that includes flirting with Girl B or other girls along the way. Everything will be end up being tested in the end. Will they succeed?

Into the rebellion because his real mom died in the rebellion and ever since then his sister has been afraid of the rebellion.
So they have a step mom?Okay, it says that girl b and guy b are dating, right? Is it like for real dating or???
Yes Idk I guess we could see how it goes. I thought maybe they would be for real dating but its something that they have to keep hidden until they go on this adventure.

No worries, I'm the same way. Usually I don't know how my charrie will act until I actually get to writing the post. Hmm maybe Girl B was sent in to spy on the royals, so she pretended to be a chamber maid? And maybe she was the one who cleaned his room. But I'm not sure how they would get to talking? He could have caught her eavesdropping or something.

I don't know honestly this plot has so many different places you can start at. We could start with Aaliyah having some sort of nightmare about the attack on the castle when she was younger and that could open it up from there

I have an idea if you don't mind me starting and how long do you normally shoot for?
I prefer not to start actually, so that works better for me. I usually just go as long as the other person.
Aaliyah looked around for her mom again. It was the same nightmare she had for awhile a long while actually ever since her mom died. It wasn't like she was afraid of much things, but this dream left her scared. Only a young girl both her and her brother were close to their mother. Their father wasn't much of a good father because rumors floated around that they weren't his children. Not too many years after that he remarried and that was when things took a turn for the worse.Their new step-mother had strict new rules that separated her and her brother for most things. She never saw him much. As a young girl to now Aaliyah had to do what girls do. Sit and let the man tell her what she can or can't do. Her father made strict laws that prevent women doing a lot things. He made sure that women were an item of interest not a person. This didn't set well with her in made her upset on so many levels it was crazy. She was out to prove her father wrong.
Waking up in the morning with her face having sweat all over her forehead. Trying to get her breath. Breathing in and out slowly. Once she got her breath she stepped out of the bed. Today she was going on hunt to prove her father wrong. She knew he brother would be furious with her. He always looked out for her no matter what. She couldn't take it anymore she was so close to turning 18 that her days were numbered before an arrange marriage happening.
Dressing in clothes that made her look like a hunter instead of a girl. Braiding her long blonde hair in the a fish tail braid. Putting a green hooded jacked over her hair. She was ready. The key to all of this was to wake up early before no other person was awake. Slowly going to weapon room taking a sword and putting in her a holster that went across her waist. Aaliyah darted to the stables.
Taking a horse was risky but she didn't walk a long ways to the woods. Putting the nessarcy tackle on the horse she mounted and rode off before sunrise heading towards the woods. Her hand trembled some she couldn't actually believed that she was doing this. Slowing down where there was a rumor dragon that lived here. She demounted the horse and tied it too a tree. Looking around for any signs.

Jayden tossed and turned in his bed all night worried about the events of the meeting he had with his dad. He had to learn the tricks of the business. He could protect his sister. That was his hopes, but she was always getting in trouble for wanting to have freedom over things. He did the best he could.
As night turned into day he saw the sunlight hit his window making it glare. Stretching some. His chambered maid would be in here soon to get him ready and bring him breakfast. Knowing that his dad hired a lot of new chamber maids. Well he wasn't allowed to call him dad or father. King Jensen was the only thing he was allowed to call him.
Jayden was even lucky to be consider part of the royal family since those rumors of his mother having an affair with someone. King Jensen wasn't the nicest of the kings. He wasn't nice at all expect to his precious new wife and baby boy John. The King was getting to his old age and people didn't live long and right now Jayden or Jay was the only one old enough to take the thrown expect his sister, but she would be having a wedding soon to some person neither of them knew.
That made him worried a lot actually. He loved his sister deeply. She was his only family and they were twins. He protected her as much as he could, but he could only do so much. Aaliyah had to put some effort into it as well. If she could just listen and not jump right in. Things would be fine they would get out of it.
Starting to tap his foot. His chamber maid was late letting him believe she was new and didn't know what was doing. His father would yell he would want him to yell at her. He didn't want the reputation like his father. He wanted to be know as someone different. When he was King he would make a difference.
Right now he had to play the part of someone who cared for his father and agreed on everything he did. If he didn't who knew what would happen to his sister or other people of the kingdom. For all he knew it could lead to another rebel attack which wouldn't be good. The last one he lost his mom who knows who he could lose this time.
((I didn't know if you want Girl B to be the chamber maid with him or if he was already dating her. I kinda set that up for you to decide))
Aiden couldn't remember the last time he had woken up to take flight with some of the other dragons. Dragons don't usually fly with others, but once a month, the day the moon disappeared, they flew in packs of five. With no moon, no one could see them anyways. These days, even that was too risky. He sighed, wanting nothing more than to fly with the others, at least once more. But he simply couldn't see the end of this war, not until a few years at least. In the very least, he would outlive the idiotic, human King Jensen.Dragons age a lot differently than humans too. One human life time could happen in the blink of an eye for a dragon. He was still considered a newborn at the age of twenty, might as well still be a fetus to his brethren. And while his dragon form would only continue to grow, he would look no older when he was in human form, or at least for a while he wouldn't. He preferred to be in his natural form of dragons, humans were too irrational. One of these days Jensen would be cooked by dragon's flame and he couldn't wait for that day to come.
Because of Jensen, they had to be more cautious. It had been at least a year since he had seen his brothers and sisters. The only way he knew they were alive was because they sent each other a message every month. The dragons that have been caught were tortured for information before being publicly killed. That king better watch his step, from what's he gathered the older dragons are only a bit away from snapping and going on a murdering spree.
He sighed, not wanting to think about the war anymore. He just wanted to fly. He cast one glance at his cave, it was safe, but he didn't want safe right now, he wanted to fly. Besides it was early in the morning, most humans wouldn't even be awake right now. It wouldn't hurt to stretch his wings. The only way they would be able to bring him down is if there was a squad of hunters, otherwise they were screwed.
Aiden took a couple of steps back before running and jumping of the edge of the cave. He smiled at the adrenaline, swooping down before shedding his human appearance and going into his dragon form. He didn't fly as high as he would have liked, but it was nice to stretch his wings out. He flew around lazily, enjoying the dawn. He was sure to stay close to the forest. Although he didn't think anything would happen, it never hurt to be careful.

Pompous twat. Melinda had wanted nothing more than to slap the fake smile right off the queen's face. Because of her, she was stuck with a tray of food in her hands, waiting outside the prince's door, pretending to be late. After all, she was supposed to be a commoner, she wasn't supposed to know where all the room's where.
When Meli was first assigned to spy on the royal family, she automatically knew where the best place to do it would be; as a lady in waiting for the Queen. Usually a lady in waiting would be a noblewoman, but with all the wars this King and Queen have started, the queen was taking in commoner's to appease the common people. Needless to say it wasn't working.
Still, the entire situation worked out for her. She was the perfect candidate to pretend to be a peasant, became a lady in waiting, and get in the Queen's good graces, all while gathering Intel. Until the queen rejected her. According to her, she wasn't qualified. But rumor had it in the court that the Queen didn't take in anyone prettier than her. For fear that the king might take a mistress. But to the main maid, she was more than qualified to become a chamber maid. To the prince. Not exactly what she was aiming for but she would have to make due. No one ever notices the maid and that's entirely perfect.
Meli was a little more cautious when it came to the prince. Rumored to be a bastard along with his twin sister, he wasn't much importance to the king, if what she heard was true. Still, it has been said to be fairly common for nobles and the royal family of many countries to have a sexual relationship with the maid. The dagger hidden underneath her dress was just a precaution. But she knew perfectly well how to use it.
When enough time had finally passed to be considered as a new maid, she pushed off the wall, before respectfully knocking on the door and coming in when granted permission. She trained her eyes on her shoes as she placed the food on the night stand, before turning towards him. She curtsied towards him,"I'm terribly sorry for being late. I got lost, but that's no excuse, your majesty."
Melinda lied with ease but even so, she was on guard. Even something as small as this could get her into trouble. If she got caught spying and being a rebel, she knew she would be sent to the executioner's block. Court was full of backstabbers and plots, she had to be careful not to become tangled up in the spider's web.
(Sorry I took so long, got distracted.
I decided on her being the new maid, I thought it would be interesting to see how their relationship develops.)

Aaliyah looked around some. Wondering how you catch or kill a dragon. Sighing wishing she would have thought this through more than she did. Taking one glance back at her horse she ventured finding this cave. "Here little dragon." She hoped it was little. No she hoped it was big and ugly because then it would be easy for her to kill. Right? Dragons were easy to kill? Right she hope they were. All she wanted to do was prove that she could kill a dragon and be respected. Perking head up as she heard a loud noise? "Hello? Um dragon could like take it easy on me?" Not evening knowing if this sound she heard was dragon or maybe it could just be an eagle in the sky. Now that she was hear she should have thought everything through. Her method of asking for the dragons help to make things easier on her was stupid and foolish. Sneaking up was out of the option even waiting. All the stories she heard said dragons had excellent hearing. Still though she attempt to make sneak up from on him. It wouldn't take but one wrong move to fail. Coming upon the side of the cliff she saw edge. Backing a ways off it so she didn't slip and fall. How long have I been walking? This thought ran through her head quickly.
Could she really kill a dragon? COuld she really kill a living breathing creature despite it being dragon? Out of everything her mom taught her it was to be kind and nice to all things no matter what. Recalling all the stories her mom used tell them when they were kids. Dragons were good creatures until her mom died. Then her dad used to tell them how dragons were awful. How could something so good turn so bad? Not thinking about it twice. Amazing hunters gathered in this land to kill the dragons. At first no one succeeded then they formed bans after more and more dragons disappear.
Of course only guys were allowed to hunt things. Only guys were allowed to vote were allowed to own things. Because girls were just objects that men had. That made her furious. That she was looked at like an item instead of a person. Thinking this made her wonder if dragons were just a prize to be won. In the end killing a dragon was the right thing to do she convinced herself.
Then all of sudden she heard a big crack. Trying to figure out what it was, but it was too late before the weak and feeble ground broke sending her falling. Her hand automatically found a safe haven on an edge of the cliff this wasn't good. She wouldn't be able to hold up much longer. The hood of her cloak hit her back. Showing that she was a girl. "Okay dragon I'm sorry for wanting to kill you and everything I'm just trying to prove I can do whatever men can do." Her voice was soft. Her arm began to tremble quickly she couldn't hold much longer. Squeezing her eyes shut as she felt herself losing her grip and falling. She was going to die. She started to panic as the a small rocks began to chase after her as she fall. There was nothing she could one quick hit of the rock knocked her out. This was the end she knew it.

Jayden turned his head as she walked through the door. His first thought was too snap at her. That is what his dad would do. I'm not my dad He thought to himself. "Its fine just please don't let it happen again." He said. Glancing up at her. "Could please get me my clothes out and a nice bath going while I eat" Using a polite tone. He hate having someone wait on him. Today of all days though. He had to get ready and be in the meeting in an hour and he didn't have time to mess around.
"I would normally do it myself, but I have a really important meeting with King Jensen this morning and I can't afford to be late." He said. Cringing how he had to say King Jensen instead of dad. It made sick even thinking about that. There was no way he could prove that rumor was right or not so he should judge his own kids. At least be a father figure. He got up getting the food and sitting down again.
He looked at his food. He wondered how his sister was doing. She didn't get much attention now days. Unless if his step mother wanted to do lady lessons or dress fitting both turned out awful. Eating his food slowly. He should be rushing, but he could help, but think. Swallowing the food down his throat. "One more thing I can you check on my sister afterwards and come find me here after my meeting. I will pay you in coins or jewels not to tell the King" The last thing he was going to do was show worry in his eyes.
Knowing his sister she was up to something. "If she isn't in her room please look around the castle if you can't find her please tell me. Whatever you do don't say a word to the King or the Queen." He bit his lip. "If you decided not to do it I will pay you off in something" He couldn't think about what if she didn't want to do it.
He wasn't even going to think what his sister was doing. Jayden knew that would just make him more worried. After he was done with his breakfast he got up and set the tray on his stand. "Just set the clothes on the bed then you can go Oh and thank you." He walked into the bathroom. Assuming the bath would be ready. Not wasting anytime he undressed and slipped in the tub.
Not too long after that he got and slid into the clothes the maid set out for him. He rushed into the meeting just before it started taking his place near the king. It was only for publicity really he didn't care about him or his sister. If found out if his sister was gone he would act like he care. Jayden on the other hand would be furious at his sister for leaving. Then she would get locked in her room as a punishment. He prayed that she was okay.
((Do you want an insta love or a love that takes time to build. I think a love takes awhile to build would work more for Girl A as she seems on guard and she doesn't want trust men and probably for Melinda too she seems like a type of the girl who won't fall for a man right away. Honestly I don't like insta love, but Melinda is your characters so I have no say.It was just a gues :)))
Aiden didn't know how long he has been out flying but it was completely relaxing. Unfortunately as the morning gave way, he knew the majority of humans would soon start to wake now. He didn't want to stop flying but he knew he would have too. His good mood dropped slightly but he was in a better mood then he had been all week. He should enjoy it, he wouldn't be able to get another chance to fly in a while. Even in the early mornings and the day there was no moon, wouldn't happen until next month. As a dragon, he was meant to fly not hide. One of them needed to burn Jensen into a crisp. Who was he to make them go against their nature? They were acting more like prey then the predator they are.The humans were lucky that the dragons had been told to try and limit the deaths of them in the war. Otherwise they would have a lot more causalities. He snorted, smoke coming from his nostrils, as he thought how cocky the humans were acting because they thought they had the war under control. Please, they were going easy on them. They shouldn't be, either. The humans were so ungrateful, hunting them down because of some made up stories from Jensen that weren't even true. According to the older dragons, before Jensen took the throne, they all lived together in harmony.
He supposed that's why the dragons haven't led a full scaled attack on the humans. The older dragons still had a soft spot for the tiny species, but as the younger dragons were caught and killed, that soft spot was slowly dying. The soft spot didn't even exist in the younger dragons. Born into an age where humans already hated them, they hated the humans just as much. The only thing reigning them in was the order of the highest power, their king. It was said between the dragons that the king and his generals, were soon going to start making plans to completely take out the humans if this war continued on.
Aiden was getting close to his cave when his nose picked up on a scent, human. He stiffened, this human was too close to his cave. He might have no choice than to take them out. The closer he got to the human, he was able to tell that it was feminine. Doesn't matter,, girl or not, the she human could tell where she had seen a dragon and that was not good.
He dove down and quickly spotted her. She was hanging onto the cliff when the rocks gave way. A large part of him told him to leave her, but a smaller part wanted to help her. He had already turned away to leave her to her fate, when he caught sight of her. She was beautiful. Without warning, he quickly swept in, catching the unconscious girl on his back. Aiden didn't think about what he was doing, otherwise he would know he was being crazy by bringing her to his cave. Once he arrived, he transformed back into his human form, the girl falling right into his arms. It was obvious that she wasn't too injured, just knocked unconscious. He walked through the various paths in the cave before placing her in the stack of hay he slept on. He left for a while before leaving human food by the bedside. Leaving the unconscious girl, he went to visit his horde in another part of he cave. He collected music pieces for the piano. Without thinking, he started playing the piano.

Melinda quickly noticed the angry look on the prince's face when she apologized, but when she peeked at him again, the look had passed. Interesting. She took note of it, she had been expecting some sort of consequence for leaving the crown prince waiting. "I won't, your highness. I swear I'll have the path to your room memorized before tomorrow,"She murmured quietly, showing submission to him. Gods, she wanted to throw up by what she was saying to him. Sickening, she felt bad for the actual maids.
She nodded at him, listening carefully to everything he said, while looking through his clothes. He really should be careful about what he says to people. Of course, to most people, that wouldn't mean much. After all, he was just going to a meeting, but to the rebels, it could mean everything. They might be planning on another attack or have crucial information on what's going on, on the battlefield. War was dreary times.
So the rumors were true. The king wasn't close to his first two children, the maybe bastards. He probably suspected them to be bastards because the entire kingdom had seen how much he loved the baby prince. The king might not love the princess, but Prince Jayden obviously did. Maybe things were looking up for her already because Meli knew the way to get into the prince's good graces was through his sister. "I'll go check on your sister, your majesty, but I won't take any payment for it. I won't tell anyone. I promise," She smiled at him shyly, working out her plan in her head.
"You didn't punish me when I arrived late. I know that might not seem like much, but everyone has been so cold and distant to me so far. It was nice of you to be kind to me," She lied through her teeth, letting her hair shield her face. "I'll go draw your bath now, your majesty,"Before he could respond, she darted away, acting the part of the shy maid to the fullest.
Once in the bathroom, Meli's jaw dropped. It was luxurious. She was part of the main resistance in the rebel force. After her parents were murdered in the war, she was taken in as a young girl. The blonde was used to showering quickly in the ice cold rivers, not actual baths. After drawing his bath, she went back out before curtsying to him and taking her leave. She made her way to the princess's room, quickly slipping in before anyone noticed her. It was obvious she was long gone. Meli didn't bother snooping around, it was obvious the king wouldn't trust her with anything. All women, even the queen and princess ,were just object to own in the kingdom.
Without waiting, she made her way back to the prince's room, straightening out everything, and collecting the plates and trays as she waited for him to finish with the meeting. Somehow, she just knew that going to check on his sister and not telling anyone anything would be her way to gain his trust. No doubt about it. From there she would only work her way up, gathering intel on the king. If everything went to plan, she wouldn't have to be here too long.

Aaliyah felt her back hit a large bump. Thinking it was the ground. Knowing she was dead because there was no way she could have lived. Then again maybe the dragon did help her out. She did say she was sorry doesn't that count for anything? Or maybe she was dead. Either way her brother was going to kill her for leaving the castle. Being dead would probably a blessing. Everything happened so fast. She cursed herself for being too close to the cliff despite backing away from it. A pain started to form in her head. If she was dead could she feel pain? Wincing at the pain her eyes slowly open. Where was she? Sitting up very carefully it looks like she was in a cave. Could this be the dragon's cave that she saw from afar? If this was the dragon's cave then where was the dragon. Her hands felt the hay bed that she laid on. Glancing down some seeing food that was left out for her. Why would a dragon have food? Something caught her attention it was the food or the hay bed not even something in the cave. A beautiful noise came from somewhere deep in the cave.
Smiling knowing it was a piano. Remembering the times her mom playing it. Also remembering how her father took it away after her mom died. He forbid music to be played in the castle expect during balls. The once full of life castle quickly died making the castle lonely and boring. Aaliyah always though that the her father missed her mom, but that seemed to turned into something else. The king was really always this way just something changed then once that changed was gone everything was the same again.
Touching the ground with her feet she got up. Being very careful in fear that she would fall down. Her paced seemed to drag for awhile then it sped up once she followed the sound of music. Smiling to herself making twist and turns until the one tunnel in the massive cave opened up. There she saw a man who looked to be in his twenties playing the piano. Despite loving the piano music. She knew men all they wanted was a woman to call their own. Men loved controlling woman she was just an object. They couldn't be trusted one bit. Even if this man was in the same cave as she was.
Not knowing this man was the dragon she was after. "That is beautiful playing it really is, but don't you think this the wrong time to be playing music. After all we are in the dragon's cave and it could back. I'm not saying it will kill us or anything,but to be on the safe side." There was no way she was going to say why she was really here. This guy would laugh at her and hurt her like everyone else. The only person to be trusted was her brother. She learned that quickly after her mother died.
Another thing she definitely was not going to tell this person who her father was. That was the last thing she needed. Who knows if he would her for ransom? Her dad wouldn't pay or maybe her would probably not. Every instinct told her to make run for it the only reason she was here right now is because she followed the music. Her once neat braid was in a mess and her deep blue eyes were starting at the floor. After everything she still never eyed a man unless if she was spoken to.

Jayden looked at his father and then everyone else. "Today's discussion will the be the rebel attacks and the Princess." His eye widens at his fathers words. What about his sister what was going to happen. "So we know theirs rebels in the castle portraying maids and other palace staff. We have a board up in town square and in hear. If you see any of these people please notify someone. I want you to send out something to the people." He said pointing to someone. Of course it didn't matter who the king pointed to they would do anything he said in the fear that he would do something wrong.
None of the people in the room looked at the board, but Jayden. There was one person who looked familiar. He wasn't going to say anything to his dead of course. "We are one step ahead of them this time around we will be preventing another rebel attack." Pausing looking around at the people room the King smiled everything was perfect and going the way he wanted it to. "Another thing is I would like to introduce a new law that makes a curfew on the women and the children of the kingdom. None will be allowed out past 5. This law will be started in a few days once we get the word around.
Jayden wasn't that shocked he was more so hanging on the words waiting for his father to say something about his sister. "A great news is that we have found a suitor for the Princess. He is from the darker kingdoms, but in terms of not starting a war we have agreed on it." The darker kingdoms were awful there was nothing there. People were torture dragons were used as slaves. People worked in mines. And most rebels and others who break the law ended up there. The only king there was King Ian the ruthless king who like to kill. "The King will be coming in three days time and will stay here until the royal wedding. I want the castle to be clean and well ready to welcome the guest.
Jayden was angry really angry. "Everyone dismissed." He got up as everyone else did and went straight for his room. He slammed the door. He wanted to break something. Noticing the maid in there. "You" He said trying to clam down. "Why are you here? The King has this new board called the Rebel board and guess who's picture is on it?" He said. Then and idea formed in his head it was crazy, but it had to work. "Can you get my sister out of here in before the wedding" He said. Trying to clam down but it wasn't working. His sister was going to be gone to that horrible place he wasn't going to let that happen. "The royal wedding is in a month her suitor will be here in three days. My sister needs to be out of here before the wedding she isn't marrying King Ian."
