Really? That is high praise because that's my favorite series! :)

I bought all three of those books as a boxed set, and read them in less than a week. I think it is my favorite series of all time.
Todd and Viola are such great characters, and the third book is really good too. :)

I really like the series. The only reason I haven't read the third book is because I checked the first 2 out from the library but the third had a huge wait list so it was a while before I got my hands on it. I own it now but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet.

I am so bad about completing series so I understand. Sometimes I get distracted, but other times I just don't want to see a good series end.
I just had all those books together and read them one after the other.

I'm the same way! Usually it's the last book because I feel like I've made it that far so I can take a break or something and then never get around to actually finishing the series. Or It takes me a while to get the next book and by the time I get it I've moved on to something else.
I'm trying to finish a bunch of series before the year ends
Right now I'm reading

I think I'll finish Chaos walking or the Enchanted Forest Chronicles or the Vampire Academy series or the Lux series next.

I still need to finish

Oh, and I have to read the last two books in the Lux series. I love those books, but I still stopped reading them. I think I have a problem. Lol
I decided this year I will force myself to finish at least three series.

I've never heard of that series. The covers look interesting though.
I love the Lux series! I have to read the last book because that was another series I checked out from the library and literally no library around me had it. I could of ordered it from another library in the state but it would have taken forever.
Maybe I'll make a series goal too...

Btw, I'm reading the lux series now and I looooved TOG!

I've never heard of that series...."
I am so being on the Throne of Glass series, but I plan on binge reading the rest of the books very soon.
I love the Lux series too, but it's been so long since I read the first three books that I don't remember everything. That's why I'm putting off reading the other two. I might just skim read the first three and refresh my memory.

Btw, I'm reading the lux series now and I looooved TOG!"
Ah! Which book are you on? I have the whole series, but I still need to read the last two.

It's a close call, but yeah, I'd give it to A Monster Calls. That's not to say that it's better than Chaos Walking, just that it worked a bit better for me. I loved all 4 books though, all 5-star ratings for me. Patrick Ness is just amazing.

If A Monster Calls is even close to as good as the Chaos Walking series, I am in for a treat. But you guys make it sound like I'm going to love it so I am so excited. :)
Cool profile pic btw. Love the light saber!

Lol, well your girlfriend did a great job. :D

Great! You can always join in on this buddy read if you want. :)

Buddy reads are so fun!
What books of the lux series are you on? Maybe we can read the last book together?
I'm almost halfway done with the last TOG novel! It's soooo good.

Whenever I feel the need to reread a series before I usually listen to the audio book sped up. I did that with the Percy Jackson series before starting the HOO series.
TOG is so good! You'll probably love it

I have just started listening to audio books so that is a fantastic idea. Thanks for the tip! :)
And so far, I love TOG series. I love books about assassins and women who can kick butt. lol

Me too!!! I actually want to find more books like TOG but I couldn't find one that pass a similar feeling

I like audiobooks because I can listen to them at work to help the time pass by quicker. I haven't heard the audiobooks for the Lux series yet though so I'm not sure how good they are. I'm less picky when I'm just rereading something though.
TOG is definitely about that :) Nehemia (sp?) is my favorite so far though I think
@Daiane
Let me know when you get to the last one! I already own it so I'm ready to go at anytime!
The Assassin's Blade is the only book of the series I don't have because I was waiting for the paperback but it's out now so I might get it tonight!
I haven't read either of these but they both have female assassins so maybe they'll work

I actually started Graceling but wasn't in the mood for it at the time (I was going through a MAJOR reading slump) so I put it down but it's pretty good so far.

And I will let you know if I find anymore series like TOG I have a few in mind. :)

I think audio books will be perfect for books I have already read. Sometimes I lose focus while listening to them, but if I already know the plot, it won't matter as much.
Yeah, I like Nehemia so far too, but someone spoiled a little part of the second book for me.
I will be buddy reading

And yes, @Diane,

I was not a fan of Graceling either tbh, but I'm hoping to enjoy Grave Mercy. It's a long book so it need to be good. Lol

I'll definitely start tomorrow at latest!

That's fine. :)
I still have the last quarter of a book to finish before I can start this one. I will hopefully get started tomorrow too.

I've gotten a lot further in it than I thought I would. It's a bit shorter than I was expecting and I couldn't put it down so I'm almost done.
It's darker than I usually like but I think the fantasy aspect balances it out.

Glad to hear it is short and good. :)

Was it a party for you? :)

But I started today and it's a sad story.
I'm on chapter 5
(view spoiler)

All of my spoilers are from my opinion finishing the book so there will be spoilers for later chapters
About the mom looking at the tree in the later chapters (view spoiler)

It was looking like a really great book too so I will definitely be reading it as soon as my mom is all better. I will also still be doing all the other buddy reads I have planed for next month. :)

Happy belated bday too kaylee!! And thanks :D
