Harry's refusal to face the reality about his home and the coyote lingering when his habitat was gone connected them. Then there was Harry being the last one to have any interest in doing the right thing about closing Marjorie's death. There were so many who didn't do their jobs...the investigators, Eno and McKittrick (granted he tried), Irving, Kim the reporter, and Arno Conklin who professed to love her but didn't seek justice for her. There was no one left but Harry.
I agree, Jonetta. But didn't Harry catch a glimpse of the Coyote toward the end? I'm up late, so memory fading, but if he did see a coyote, I think there might have been some sign of hope represented, too. Harry was coming back.
